We loved our dinner at the L'Artegal. You have a nice view to the main square of Gordes and service is excellent. Food was very good too.

We have been visiting L'Artegal for a number of years and it never disappoints. Small and charming with a superb menu offering locally sourced dishes and wines of the region. The owner is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is perfect for a meal a deux or with a group of friends. Booking recommended.

Unusual aperitif of Champagne and fresh peach. Refined food, light and beautifully prepared. Service is pleasant and on the money.

Located in the main square, sheltered from any wind, and with adequate shade, this is an unpretentious restaurant with class. The lunch menu offers 3 or 4 large salads, plus 6 to 8 a la carte items. The wine list is short and very well priced. Service excellent. Definitely will return.

Presladak! Hahahaha sweet and very very good food and wine we had. It is a restaurant in a very nice village with a small list of food but this food is great and you should try it. Main course and the dessert were just too nice to eat anything else not to damage the taste from the food we had.... More

We had a terrific lunch at this place. The food was excellent. The wait staff just lovely and sitting out in the sunshine was just lovely in the courtyard. The absolute bonus though was that we are travelling with our 9month old baby and we didn't need to ask for her food to be heated and they were happy to... More

On the last evening in the Provence we visited this restaurant and it was like a cherry on top of the dessert. Interior of the restaurant looks really nice and cosy. Staff is friendly and speaks English very well (not a case in other restaurants in France). Food is excellent (the best which we had during our holidays). I have... More

We found this little placing getting out of the weather on a VERY windy day at Gordes. We had a great lunch with very friendly staff who catered for my wife's gluten free diet with no problem at all. We ordered the duck salad and the Foie Gras salad and they were amongst the best salad lunches we have had... More

We stumbled across the village of Gordes whilst driving around on a rainy day, being that we were driving an Alfa Romeo Duetto 1967 convertible and the rain was getting heavier we decided to stop in the village in the hope that the rain would pass. We walked into L'Artegal wet and 15 mins too early for lunch (in France... More
