We ate here last night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The seafood salad and the vegetarian lasagne were both delicious. It is a casual place, but good ambience. We are returning again for the moules and frites which we have heard are delicious.

We had dinner with friends and will never come back again. Very poor service combined with below average food and a above average. The area has so many nice a good restaurants that this one should not be an alternative. Our simple request to un bone the fish was answered 'I don't know how to do it'.

We had booked a terrace table a couple of nights before and a good table was duly waiting for us. We had the house wine and carafe d'eau. We had the trinquette assiette and Darse salad to start. Then we had another large seafood salad and a fish dish with whole baked fish. We shared the main courses and a... More

Had dinner here while at the Institut de Francais, December 2013. The main dish of the meal was a tartiflette, which was just OK. Fairly filling, but couldn't really taste anything in it due to how incredibly hot it was. Too hot. The wine was pretty good though. Was really just an average dining experience, on the whole.

We had a great, fun night at La Trinquette. There was a Bossa Nova band that was truly great. Not a fancy place, more like a local hangout. Good food and prices. Don't miss it if it's music night and reserve ahead as they had to turn people away!!!!

Quite nice after having taken a cold bath (ten degrees at best)! After a hearty welcome, I and my kids were introduced into a cosy and comfortable dinner room. We could afford a tasty meal with good wine. The children doted upon sea brass and mussels. I, for one, prefered the beef.

Great location overlooking the port. Surprisingly the fish soup was excellent but I suspect it was a tin checking the other dishes served. Not really a restaurant but more a place to have something to eat and meet friends. Terrace is nice.

We were present with a large group of 50 people, so we had a buffet. The food was plentiful and satisfying - tabouli, shrimp on skewers, salads - nothing terribly unusual or particularly haute French but a good hearty meal. Even more importantly, the manager was a friendly smiling individual who sincerely wanted everyone to have a wonderful time, and... More

This restaurant is right next door to the Hotel Darse - where we stayed - so we gave it a try one evening. It was packed inside (seemed to be a party of some sort, with a buffet) so we sat on the veranda outside. The friendly waiter was happy for me to swop the folding wooden chair for a... More

We went on the recommendation in the Rick Steeves France 2013 guidebook. The place was packed yet the owner managed to squeeze us in. The menu for food is on the first page only, the rest of the menu is drinks. We were unsure what was on the menu as our French is limited, however upon choosing a dish which... More
