This is a most welcoming restaurant, with a great location, friendly waiters, and delicious food. Seafood, naturally - what else does one eat in Villefranche? Almost anything on the menu is good but don't miss the mussels!

We stopped here for lunch and ordered both of the specials, lapin nicoise and marmite de pecheur. They were both generous portions, very tasty and served promptly by a very competent and friendly waiter. Unfortunately we did not have room for dessert, but plan to return next time we are in Villefranche.

We ate at Les Palmiers 5 times during our stay in Villefranche sur Mer. The peach crepes are wonderful, and we enjoyed sitting outside and having breakfast and dinner here as well.

We went for launch and we had a salad nicoise and some grilled dorada fish. It was tasty and large portions. Les crêpes ont été magnifiques :)

Fantastic place, two minutes walk from our apartment. Service fantastic, even on the busiest of evenings, cannot fault the perfect thin crispy pizza, not doughy and greasy like you get in the UK. The wine is lovely, and salad with the walnuts and goats cheese is awesome. The Pizza I had was with olives and anchovies and it was rich... More

This is truly a mixed bag. Food is very good--risotto was excellent and in general good price for good food. Problem is the service. Waiter was totally untrained. Forgot main course--bought out one main course before we had appetizers. Fritto was overcooked since they had completely forgotten it. Basic problem is that the waiters need a tiny bit of training... Went here twice so far this week, once for lunch, once for breakfast. It's OK, but nothing special - service is prompt, menu offers a mix of fish, meats, paste, pizza etc and it's a good location in the main square. Reasonable prices. We'd not eat here for dinner, although many do and it's been very busy most times we've... More

We were in Villefranche for 7 days and had 4 meals at Les Palmiers. The service and food were excellent. The moules mariniers were my favourite. Highly recommend this restaurant.
