The place to be in Grand Jardin!

Lovely Brasserie specialising in Nicoise food and Pizzas. Come here on any summer night (preferably during the 'Nuits de Sud' Festival in July!), order a pizza, a bottle of rose wine and revel in watching the locals doing the same. If you can bring your set of 'Petanque' (Boules) then why not play... read more

On the first afternoon we had an excellent lunch outside and then returned on the Friday evening because they were advertising live music. What talent! We also enjoyed the 29eu three course menu for our evening meal which was excellent and they happily exchanged one of the advertised desserts for a beautiful cheesboard for my friend. Very attentive, fast service... More

La Regaence is simply a lovely place to be. The menu is delightful and very broadly based so it has appeal to a very wide number of tastes. Dominique, the owner, is terrific and always gives you the best welcome you could hope for. The staff are superb (most especially Louis), they are very friendly and smiling and so it... More

La Regence is a nice brasserie, with outdoor seating in season, overlooking a squadre in the old town of Vence. Waiters are friendly and polite, the food is good with a "home" touch, the atmosphere is informal and perfect for a nice dinner with friends and/or family. Portions are generous and prices are in the average (75-80 euros for two... More

This place happened to be one of the few open on Sunday night when we were ready to eat. They serve reasonable pizza and pasta with moderate attention to service in an ok atmosphere. There are better options in Vence (like the Pigeonier). If you're after an honest italian meal in old-town France, this place will fit the bill.

Funny reading previous reviews as they conflict with our experience, drinks on a Sunday night - generous and well priced glass glasses of wine served with complimentary side apero`s, we returned later for a night cap, again friendly service, we then came back for lunch Monday, both inside and out busy with many locals eating, the heavens opened and we... We visited Vence to see the Matisse chapel which shuts very early for lunch, so it was closed when we arrived. We strolled into town and found this place. We were made very welcome at the very start of the lunch period - an amuse bouche of cured ham, garlic sausage and mini chicken kebabs soon disappeared. I had seared... More

A few days ago I went with my handicapped wife - with rollator - to the Regence Café in Vence for dinner. It was a rainy evening at 1900h, only 3 or 4 tables were taken. I stopped at a table near the entrance. Nobody took any notice of us. I then approached a waiter who was passing by and... More

The restaurant seemed to appeal to a younger crowd then the rastaurants in the old town. Great live music and tastefull hamburgers! They also have free wifi, which is handy when waiting to be served.
