Cute little restaurant in the old village of Vence. My Filet Mignon was OK, the lobster my wife had was more or less well cooked. Service was also OK, but could have been friendlier. All in all a very average experience.

We visited this restaurant towards the end of the lunch time period and were welcomed. The restaurant encroaches on Place Clémenceau and so the back drop of the elegant town hall was picturesque. We both had the gazpacho for starters as we were after something refreshing for the warm day. We were dubious at the inclusion of curry in the... More

We had a lovely evening at La Cassolette located in the town hall square in Vence. We had not booked and think we were lucky to get a table at short notice (it was a Saturday night and a the town was busy) In particular we would recommend the gazpacho, the lamb with bulgar wheat and the goats cheese salad.... In our experience, La Cassolette is the best place to have lunch, or dinner, in Vence. During summer, one sits on a pretty terrace on the Place Clémenceau, overlooked by the Mairie and the Cathedral 'Notre Dame de la Nativité'.The cooking is essentially provençal, simple but full of flavor. The welcome is warm, and the service is kind and efficient.... More

Our families enjoyed wonderful food and service. Highly recommend. The outdoor seating was charmingly next to a church and in a Square where music was playing.

We spent 10 days in St Paul and ate here several times. We enjoyed the variety on the menu, my husband always had the rognon de veau, he gave it 10 out of 10. The outdoor tables, set up in a small square provide a pleasant setting. The service was excellent, Stefano our waiter was always very professional, pleasant and... More

Excellent quality food with very fresh ingredients, attentive very friendly service, reasonably priced. Very good option for lunch as tables are under umbrellas in the very pleasant Place Clemenceau. So much nicer to dine in the old town than outside the walls. If you like calamari and octopus - order it here, it is superb. We even had quality buskers... More

We ate here in the evening on the recommendation of our Chambre d'hote owner and we were not disappointed. For the south of France the evening menu was reasonably priced and obviously cooked with good, fresh ingredients. The smallish interior was full as it was a bit chilly to eat outside, but the atmosphere was very friendly and informal. One... More

We had a nice lunch out on the terrace. The waiters attentive, the food very good and the suroundings so nice. People strolling by, and the plaza itself gives a wonderfull ambience.

Fresh food and good service at reasonable prices. Also good is the menu, that is changing and not staying always the same - we like it!
