In absolute shock!

Our favourite beach restaurant for many years, a short trip by boat from our villa in Port Grimaud, and our first stop when we get to the South. In previous years, a very warm welcome with fabulous French menu - in fact, I had almost chosen my meal on the boat journey. In its place, a Tex-Mex... read more

All good things come to an end - this jewel of a restaurant was quickly ruined by the new owners. Poor food, poor attitude, awful new furniture. So now, inevitably - it has closed. We visited by boat this morning, just an empty beach, even the landing stage has been taken away.

Les Graniers has totally disappeared:: closed: gone: mourned. Despite the descent to Tex Mex, for whatever reason it is no more----- for now. Hope it is to be resurrected.

SO so sad. this is a restaurant we have been coming to for over 30 years, Something my husband, brother, sisters, parents and friends all look forward to and feel a warm nostalgic connection with. Of course we miss the old owners and the reliably delicious french food, year after year at reasonable prices. god i will miss those news... More

I've been going to Les Graniers for years. It was one of my favourite quiet spots in the world with great Provençal beach food and delightful staff. The lady who runs the restaurant is utterly charming. Why, oh why have they messed around with the layout of tables with clunky, immovable wooden structures? As for the Tex Mex meets the... More

After My last revue and visiting this wonderful place for years to find such dramatic changes to a dreadful Tex Mex restaurant which is absolutly awfull we will never return and lm sure Joan Collins and the king of Spain who were regulars to this beautiful corner of St Tropez will be thinking the same LAMJON

We have been eating here for years and enjoing the relaxed atmosphere, great food and lovely staff. The staff are still wonderful and the atmosphere is still quite good, but they have really spoilt the food - and after all this is primarily a restaurant. The menu prices have gone up, the food quality has gone down and the standard... More

For 14 years, one of the highlights of our regular summer trips to Port Grimaud and St Tropez was lunch on the beach at Plage de Graniers. It was an open secret that Graniers had its own special friendly atmosphere away from the parading plastic posing and prices of the Pampelelone strip. It's regular and loyal customers loved theSpicy spring... More

Many years I have visited this secret hot spot just outside saint Tropez. We had lunch with Joan Collins. Back to basics just with our feet in the sand. The new owner made this a awful Mexican restaurant. Too expensive and quality and atmosphere are gone. Stay away unless you want to pay for poor quality and South American food,... More

If you are in Saint Tropez for the Tuesday or Saturday market and have succeeded in finding a parking place....Why not have lunch at the great little beach restaurant frequented mainly by 'locals'? Plage des Graniers is a six/seven-minute walk from the Place des Lices, and is just beyond the cemetery on the top of the village by the Citadel.... More
