We have been eating here for years and enjoing the relaxed atmosphere, great food and lovely staff. The staff are still wonderful and the atmosphere is still quite good, but they have really spoilt the food - and after all this is primarily a restaurant. The menu prices have gone up, the food quality has gone down and the standard... More

For 14 years, one of the highlights of our regular summer trips to Port Grimaud and St Tropez was lunch on the beach at Plage de Graniers. It was an open secret that Graniers had its own special friendly atmosphere away from the parading plastic posing and prices of the Pampelelone strip. It's regular and loyal customers loved theSpicy spring... More

Many years I have visited this secret hot spot just outside saint Tropez. We had lunch with Joan Collins. Back to basics just with our feet in the sand. The new owner made this a awful Mexican restaurant. Too expensive and quality and atmosphere are gone. Stay away unless you want to pay for poor quality and South American food,... More

If you are in Saint Tropez for the Tuesday or Saturday market and have succeeded in finding a parking place....Why not have lunch at the great little beach restaurant frequented mainly by 'locals'? Plage des Graniers is a six/seven-minute walk from the Place des Lices, and is just beyond the cemetery on the top of the village by the Citadel.... More

We have been coming here by boat for years, and have always been very happy. Good chef, good French menu. Three weeks ago (early July 2014) everything changed. Poor Mexican food, lacking in any pretence of subtlety. Imagine 'TGI Friday' or some other American ribs and chicken wing chain, and you have it. Only, the ribs were dry, the wings... More

Presumably the owner- in his wisdom -recently decided to turn this fabulous french beach restaurant into a 'Mexican themed restaurant" goodness knows why. If we want Mexican we would go to Mexico. The food here last year was outstanding so how very disappointing to find this major change after so many many years of being such a lovely spot -... More

There is more to Graniers than you think! Imagine arriving by boat, your feet in the hot sand as you walk across to your table on the beach, with such care taken to protect you from the sun, with as many umbrellas as you need. Eating the freshest of fish, cooked with imagination, served by some of the nicest staff... More

We had drinks after lunch at this restaurant, so I cannot really give my opinion about the food. The place itself is on the beach, tables on the sand, which gives a very relaxed feel. Combined with soft music, a really nice little bay, the Mediterranean with its pristine waters and all of a sudden you are in Paradise. I... More

Spent a memorable afternoon lunching and enjoying the bay of St Tropez. Food and staff great, unhurried and not expensive. Go x

Absolutely superb! The tables are directly on the sand. It was a great food experience with an astonishing panoramic view of the bay. All the staff extremely friendly.
