Went on Saturday night with friends which we had booked the day before - so got a nice table in the terrace overlooking the beach and sea. Good service and set menu all washed down with a couple of bottles of some local rose. Not inexpensive but good value for what we had. If you want to get away from... More

Very good and refreshing Ceasar salad. Nice place to enjoy lunch on a typical Saint-Tropez summer day. There a nice seaview from the terrace and a small beach downstairs, very French atmosphère!

It's a bit off-center in the old fishermen's quarters & more quiet than the Place des Lices or the port that burst at the seams in the summer. I love the little beach at the Crique de La Ponche. The restaurant and hotel are also filled with history which gives them added charm. Clearly not inexpensive, but their soupe de... More

We had fish, lamb and mussels. All dishes were excellent, and the mussels were some of the best we have tried. Evening breeze and view of water made the whole experience outstanding.

We stumbled in for a July lunch and left with a smile. The fish soup was as good as the waiter said. The sea bass likewise - although stretching the limits of the price for a main course for lunch. The atmosphere relaxed - maître d handing out straw hats for those that were too exposed to the sun and... More

Whilst others may have been 'unlucky here, we have to say, we had a 'Good Experience' during our recent dinner ... A full restaurant, one table just cleared, front corner with view of sea, couldn't have been better ... breezy on a 'stuffy night' ... Charming hostess, we felt 'welcome', chose the 3-course .... when she noticed I finished my... More

We always come at least once in this old and traditional restaurant in front of the old port of St Tropez, but this time was a bit disappointing. The service quick and not professional as it used to be,they almost spit the fish soup on my husband's pants ...My stuffed vegetables have been reheated too high so they were hard and dry... Fantastic lunch spot with a sea view in the old town. Leave the harbor behind and venture into the old town and soon after City Hall you will find this gem at the bottom of a very arty street. Service was very friendly, they have a menu in English for those of us who struggle with more than the basics... More

We visited here for lunch on 9th September. I had made a reservation some weeks in advance as it was my girlfriend's "big" birthday and I wanted a table "face a la mer". The hotel is only about a five minute walk up the hill from the harbour opposite where the Bateaux Verts arrive from Sainte Maxime and well away... More

Lunch at La Ponche was lovely. Fantastic view. Service was a bit slow especially with two small kids. Ate off the set menu which was 31€. Food was lovely and desserts excellent. Would recommend.
