Excellent Bearnaise sauce!

We had steak-frites and rose wine. The steak was not the best cut, but acceptable. The Bearnaise sauce was fantastic, with just the right amount of tartness and lots of tarragon. (I guess that says something that the sauce was more memorable than the steak!) Prices were significantly less than some... read more

The service was excellent, could not do enough for us. No airs and graces, just friendly with a smile. Great atmosphere, very busy with people who look like they know a good place eat. I had a steak and my partner the spaghetti Bolonaise which were both piping hot, tastey with side sauces and filling. The glass of house wine... More

We've eaten here regularly...particularly after market day....it never fails. Always go for the daily special...and the salads are outrageously good... Its were the locals and the tourists meet...always loud and buzzy and great efficient , cheerful service..which is unusual in France these days...the cheerful, efficient bit that is.

Half the price of the restaurants at the harbour, Le Sporting is located on a large tree lined square just a couple of minutes walk away. Sit down on the terrace and watch the old men playing boules in the distance. Open all year round, the service is friendly, the prices are normal and the interior is intriguing. Who would... More

Warm atmosphere with good and quick service...All the family members ate something different and all of them were very delicious...portion size is like in US when compared to French standards...You can try galette, Steak, pizza and hamburgers...they even gave the kids carambar which is a very popular candy among my daughters and their friends...it was a very satisfactory lunch with... Thought this place seemed like a classic local bistro/bar and very much enjoyed grabbing a quick burger there.

Had dinner twice here during a visit in April. All the food that we tried was great, but my personal favorite was the croque monsieur. Can't wait to have that again! Atmosphere is lively and fun. Don't pass on the crepes.

Great sports bar visited by locals as well as tourists. Good food (try the burger or risotto) , fine ambiance, also nice just to have a drink at the bar while watching a game of football. Crepes not to be missed!

We had lunch here on a Wednesday and I have to say that the whole experience was perfect. We had a drink at the bar whilst we waited for a table but only had to wait 10 minutes. I can honestly say Le Sporting served me the best burger I have ever had. Simply delicious. My girlfriend's dad had the... More
