The other reviews for this restaurant date from over three years ago, and say it has closed or is a sandwich shop. One can only assume the place has reopened as I've been here twice this year. The little restaurant's ('bistro gourmand') location remains roughly if not exactly the same, in the strip of modern outlets opposite the Capitainerie in... More

We decided to return to Petrus for another special meal, but were sad to see that it had changed to a sandwich bar. We were not surprised, but we were disappointed. In this case, location is important, and although the little restaurant was outstanding, it was located in the wrong section of St. Tropez. Maybe someday they will move to... More

Since I wrote the first review of this restaurant, it is fitting that I write the last. I visited it again yesterday, only to find that about one month ago it converted into a snack bar. The location was the problem. It was on the "wrong side" of the port, facing a parking lot, in a row of snack bars,... More

We dined there mid-week and sat on one of two outside tables The food was average by comparison to other St Tropez venues and the views are not as ‘romantic’ as some of the other slightly rose tinted reviews suggest – brightly lit interior, closed down shops, car park etc. (see photos for the views you get as a diner).... Decided to try it after reading about it here, the food is above average, better than the other commercial places around the port, this place has a real feel, with distinctive menu, and loved the live music, while watching the sunset

Petrus is a small restaurant near the VIP nightclub and along the strip of restaurants & bars leading towards St Tropez port. We have now been to this place about a dozen times since it opened - food is truly excellent, especially the boeuf a la japonnaise, and the wide choice available on the menu is amazing for such a... My girlfriend and I were looking on the web for ideas and suggestions regarding Saint-Tropez. we choose the fifth restaurant on the list following the "good for romance" feedbacks. Our choice proved to be the best since the restaurant was as good as it was described in the feedbacks. We had appetizers (avocado salad with king crab) and main courses... More

This little restaurant near the harbor was such a good find. The cuisine was typically french, and of a high standard. The Chef/owner obviously takes pride in his work. His wife served us the entire evening, and she was really very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is easy to miss because it is small and located across from the harbor... More

We wandered into this restaurant as we strolled along the harbor....didn't know anything about it. I agree with the other reviewers, delicious food in a very casual environment.

Very good restaurant! Great food, great service and a place that combines contemporary design with pleasant moments. I really recommend this restaurant for those looking for a good deal in St. Tropez.
