we were stuck with the pretentiousness of the typical restaurants in St Tropez, and getting quite fed up. then...we found this place. what a place! nice small restaurant ran by this lovely lovely French Lady who makes every night special. the food is good, but what makes you want to go back is the atmosphere.... COSY, nice and kind. we... More

We just passed by walking small streets in the old city of St. Trop and the charming homely atmosphere pulled us in (later we saw the Tripadvisor tag at the door). We were right, as the landlady herself placed us and we had such a nice dinner - the food was brilliant, the chats among the guests and with the... More

My fiance and I have been there many times. I have to say that it's my favorite place in St Tropez because of the service and the food. The restaurant is ver small and you do go there for the place you go there because you know that you will have a great service and because you will eat well.... More

Me and my wife went there for a dinner during our honeymoon trip. The restaurant is small and very cozy. Owner herself took care of us and was very pleasant and helpful. For a starter we had foie gras with home made orange marmalade - it was splendid. I ordered tuna made in Japanese way and my wife had scallops.... More

A small restaurant in a side street inside St Tropez. Lively atmosphere and excellent cuisine. We were 4 people the first day and came back at 10 people a few days later. Cod, lamb, "foie de veau', sirloin, duck ( magret de canard)... and there are day's specials, everything was cooked according to everyone's taste. Top. Fresh. Superb. And the... More

We went here on the basis of trip advisor's good reports. It did not live up to expectations. The staff were very riendly and welcoming. There were many locals there and quite lively. However the food was a let down. The starters looked as if they were bought in. The mains were not well cooked and two dishes were quite... More

This place is quintessentially St. Tropez. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff was extremely helpful (the owner actually gave us a glass of her own private reserve!) and the setting is perfect hidden in a small cobblestoned alleyway. The food was fresh and perfectly seasoned, you cannot go to St. Tropez without eating at this gem. We went 2... More

My family and I picked L'Aventure off Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. It was a lovely evening. The lady who served us (perhaps the owner) was so helpful. She translated the whole menu and told us all the specialities they did. My Son and Son-in-Law had the snails, which they absolutely loved. A couple of us had the fish... More

The Owner is very sweet. Main courses were excellent, but entree could be improved. Prices are at "Saint tropez" level... Nice atmosphere! Clean toilet!

We absolutely loved L'Aventure on our recent trip to St Tropez. We looked up some restaurants on Trip Advisor as we wanted some nice 'home cooked' style French food, and we came across L'Aventure. The service was fantastic. The lady owner was an absolutely wonderful host. We even returned here for a second time in the week on our last... More
