The food is so terrible that it is remarkable that the staff can serve it with such a smile on their face. However a great location and a very helpful and friendly staff cannot cover for the fact that the food is simply terrible. A John Dory filet came wayy overcooked…it did not even taste like St Pierre (the French... More

Restaurant is in a great location, witch is what attracted us to it. Friendly service but I'm afraid the food was only average. The saving grace was the local white wine was very good and reasonably priced for the area.

Visited for a family birthday and chose to do so purely on the menu and look of the restaurant. Warm friendly greeting and attentive servers. I could have chosen at least 3 or 4 dishes from the menu but eventually went for magret de canard with sauce au poivre and it was simply delicious. The other dishes chosen were Duo... More

The impression one gets from reading reviews of restaurants in the town of St-Paul-de-Vence is that very few serve good food and ever fewer represent good value. This restaurant offers neither good food nor good value. Service however was efficient and friendly. I had a filet of St Pierre (John Dory) which was dreadfully overcooked and served with a very... Lovely setting and good service but the food was not good. Ordered a prawn special off the blackboard - very disappointing. Wine was good.

We decided to stop by at Le Petite Chapelle for a simple lunch before exploring the town. The ambience was warm and relaxed; a family friendly environment and the waitresses were friendly and coped well with our orders despite our limited French abilities. Our salad, pasta, duck dishes and souffle were delicious, leaving everyone satisfied with our meals. We did... More

Nice simple food, pricewise very affordable for St Paul. We went back twice as we felt so welcome and not robbed unlike at other restaurants in town

We came upon this small restaurant by chance, as we were unable to access the others in the hilltop village due to mobility restrictions. Enjoyed it so much we returned three nights later. The service is friendly and English, German, and Italian are all understood. The choice on the menu is excellent to suit all tastes and pockets. All our meals... More

Nice expierence close to Nice. The village is cute old provensal style with lot of little galeries and shops full of painting. The restaurant is a nice terasse around an old chappel made of rough stones. They have a good fish and sea food specialities.

We went to La petite Chapelle twice during our stay. We all enjoyed our first meal but were a little bit unsure about our second meal... The service wasn't as good the second time either. The location is amazing and the restaurant is located in an old chapel. Very unique. Do not sit by the toilet door(!) but choose to... More
