This is a lovely small local restaurant with a very little outdoor seating, a lovely view. The menu is small but excellent, changes daily. Classic cuisine. Very relaxed.

We spent a lovely morning in St Paul de Vance and found this lovely little restaurant on the ramparts quite by chance. With laid back jazz music in the background, the wonderful view from the doorway, together with fantastic food and wine, we couldn't have asked for more. Would highly recommend!

This place was referred by a store nearby and I have to say. I was not expecting much but seating with that view, sipping a local wine and eating a extremely fresh salad with foie gras was one of the highlights of our trip. Unforgettable lunch, great services and fresh and delicious food. You can't go wrong here. Superb!!!

Beautifully situated on the ramparts of this lovely town the Malabar Restaurant is quaint, lovingly run and serves excellent food which has been prepared with care to order. Not far from here is the rather jarringly named and decorated La Sierra, which after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, was our first choice. What happy chance that it was closed! Malabar... More

This lovely little restaurant is hidden away on the west rampart of St. Paul. We first went to the Malabar four years ago and we have made it a point to return every year since when we are visiting the south of France. It is run by a couple. The wife is the hostess, the husband the chef. My wife... More

Having tried the tapas bar next door and left as the lady running it was so unfriendly and unwelcoming, we drifted into Malabar instead and were glad that we had as we enjoyed our lunch there, simple food but well prepared. It is attractive inside and service is friendly and helpful, I enjoyed the foie gras to start, though less... More

If you are lucky enough to grab one of the two tables outside this lovely restaurant you can enjoy lunch with the most beautiful view. The service was fantastic, we felt very well looked after and the prices very reasonable. I look forward to going back very soon.

We had a really great lunch here. The restaurant is small and unfussy but very comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and service is given with a smile. The food is great, starter salade gourmande and beef carpaccio both delicious, followed by excellent veal kidneys in cognac and magret de canard in green pepper sauce. One of the best meals... More
