The restaurant is situated down a adrenaline inducing hill. But after this exhilarating ride you enter a serene building with a lush garden overviewing St Paul, arguably the best view we ever had in a restaurant. The menu is small but simple and contains one dish you shouldn't miss when eating here: the smoked trout (specialty of the restaurant). It... More

My parents and I visited the restaurant Labrouette while travelling through Europe. We were received by a very kind viking who showed us to are table, which had an amazing view on Saint Paul's old medieval village. As an entrée I ordered the "filet mignon fumé et mariné" and as a main dish I had the smoked trout. I would... More

We were staying at Orion B&B so it was just a short 5 min walk up a steep hill though the woods to this place. We had a tasty apéritif and then nice fresh food! This is a family restaurant with the soul. As we were in March, we were looking on the fireplace! The smoked trout was also cooked... More

One of the most unusual rustic resturants i have ever visited, we were staying at Orsion B&B so it was just a short 2 min walk up a steep hill though the woods to this slightley bonkers culinary workshop. Our host delivered us an apéritif of 'Orange wine' which was very refreshing after the 2 min vertical hike. The view of... More

The set was very good value - the smoked trout main was particularly excellent - supremely fresh -- very tasty. And the apricot tart with vanillas sauce deadly. A little outside of the town but well worth the 10 minute drive. Service was also superb - husband and wife team

Don't be afraid to walk few minutes through high grass and little country path tot get to the restaurant. During summer is a very romantic place (but mosquito are self inviting themselves as well - good point: you will find anti-mosquito spray at your disposal on the table). The place is quite simple decorated. Food is good...presentation is accurate...however for... More

This place came highly recommended. I guess my expectations were a bit too high. I am not a fish lover and don't particularly like sweet dishes. We were offered a orange wine which was excellent. Then we got an amuse bouche which was a marinated tuna. It wasnt bad but the pieces were much too large. The appetized were smoked... More

dear sir , to answer to your comment on our restaurant, I fully agree, that this kind of food might not be , what you might enjoy the most , I m not pretending my food is one of the best in the world, staying relatively simple, and no at all that type of gastronomic food , I am conscious... More

Food: The marineret sild (marinated herring) was tough, the leverpostej (paté) did not taste fresh, and the basket of rugbrød (bread) contained dry, store-bought, quartered rye slices. Service: We were 10 minutes early for our reservation at 20h. We ordered before any other customers arrived in the restaurant. Our 10-yr old was not served his frikedeller (meatballs) for another hour... More
