Although the portions were small the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. Try the ravioli and you will remember me..

We were recommended this restaurant by the owner of the bed and breakfast where we were staying. It is a little of the beaten path, up by the church. The fennel flavoured panacotta for starters is so wonderfully different and just the most exquisite of flavours. Followed by scallops done to perfection in a thai style sauce. The owner who... More

An excellent small restaurant - the food is amazing (and beautifully presented) and the service friendly and helpful. The wine recommendation (a local wine) was perfect, too.

We ate in Le Caruso for dinner . We were made very welcome , having asked a couple of questions about the menu in English. We sat outside in a lovely quiet street setting with beautiful buildings around us. The food was nicely presented and excellent quality. We had the black risotto and sea bream which was delicious. We were... More

We received a warm welcome for dinner in this small, intimate restaurant. For starters we had white asparagus (with bacon, egg and truffles) - delicious - and ravioli (with blue cheese and pine nuts filling) - tasty. For mains we had black risotto and bream which was excellent. Would repeat - highly recommended.

We were disappointed. Dishes were beautifully presented, but average in taste. Very expensive. wine not very sophisticated. Rather a tourist trap, then typical french cuisine.

This was the best of the four restaurants we sampled in St. Paul de Vence. It's a small, informal room with few tables. A couple with considerable restaurant experience runs it: she tends the dining room while he cooks. She is charming and very helpful. The chef is also engaging. Both are fluent in English. All the dishes the four... More

I expected Saint Paul to provide me with a table for me and my girlfriend to have a great time, le Caruso offered just that. Tucked in a beautiful and quiet street we had a delightful dinner. The service was caring and lovely when the food was succulent. I can be picky when it comes to seasoning but their scallop... More

Sitting in the narrow street enjoying a good meal and wine, adds an extra star to the beautiful St. Paul de Vence. If you like typical French service, this is the place for you. But if you have no sense of humor, find another restaurant. This is not McDonald’s.

We had dinner there , it was recommended by the sommelier from the wonderful little wine shop in the village, where we have been staying in an apartment for a week. The food was carefully presented with wonderful tastes and good choice. The waitress was friendly and helpful , and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening
