A cut above all other restaurants in ste maxime

This is a restaurant serving gourmet food rather than tourist food. The dishes are well cooked and beautifully presented with amuse bouches which are a delight. Would recommend.

Out of the four restaurants at which we dined in Ste Maxime this was the haute cuisine. The menu catered well for all four of our party of two Brits and two USA. The service was exceptionally good and the wine excellent.

The chef continues to amaze whenever I visit this restaurant. It offers menus at around 40, 50 and 85 euros. (Prices have gone up a bit with the award of a Michelin star.) The last one was the "carte blanche" tasting menu that we tried this August. The chef offered 8 small tasting courses according to seasonal availability. (And he... More

We always come here for a meal during each annual trip the Ste Maxime. This year it was exceptional. We opted for the chefs menu at €85. Here there are no choices but the chefs own selection (taking into account any food allergies) after the Amuse Bouche which was a three variety offer, fresh and interesting, we then had three... We are a small family with one behaved child who wanted to dine at this 1* restaurant as our happy ending in St Maxime. We should have chosen otherwise. Positives first; service is good, although no one asked how the meal tasted, so no way to complain. Did accomodate for child with tasteful fish filet and nice fried potatos. None... More

We found this small restraurant around the back of the town, almost by accident. It's one star Michelin statuts is well deserved and with the set the meneu at €49.00 it was great value. We had an excellent balanced meal with some inventive cooking and presentation- We visit St Maxime regularly and will certainly return

Wow! - We really enjoyed this restaurant. Everything was proper "One star Michelin", from the canapes, the bread, right through to dessert. It's not easy to find, so ask for directions. We had the Euro 50 set menu, which was very good value, and offered a choice for each course. I would certainly return. Oh - don't request "outdoor". You... More

I visited Le Badiane in April for the first time and was very impressed. I've been visiting Ste Maxime for many years and have never had a better meal than the one I had here. The small (10 or so tables) restaurant is simple and understated with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is delicious, fresh and beautiful. The menu is... More

We came here from La Garde Freinet for our wedding anniversary and greatly enjoyed the 50 euro menu (plus cheese at 7euros). The food was excellently prepared, beautiful colours and flavours, imaginatively presented. The service was attentive but not fussy - little touches like immediately replacing a dropped napkin rather than simply picking it up. Everything was done in French... More

Very small restaurant but big on taste and creativity. Really interesting food which is unusual in this area.
