Memorable Fish

Ambience, service and the carefully selected menu made for a memorable evening. Our party of four all chose fish which we all agreed was some of the finest we have eaten in some time. The wine list was extensive, wide ranging and offered for selected wines good value. We would return.

We had excellent plat du hour menu - home made lobster bisque, octopus salad with wasabi crisps, cannelloni and sea bream with the most delicious sauce. Lovely host. Great value.

They say that a 3 star Michelin restaurant is worth a journey well Le Sloop belongs right up there! We had a meal there yesterday and had an amazing simple salad with fresh summer truffle and very good parmezaan cheese. An cannelloni filled with lobster and i think ricotta that slightly overpowered the lobster but was still amazing. For our... More

This is by far the best restaurant on the port, but I wouldn't say it is the best restaurant at Cap Ferrat (look to Voile D'Or or the Grand Hotel if budget is unlimited) The menu is prepared daily, with truffles usually playing a starring role. The owner hovers over everything making sure you enjoy your evening and the food... More

We enjoyed our meal but it just fell short of being excellent. We struggled a little with the all French language menu and using a fish knife to cut lobster was a little challenging. Otherwise very enjoyable and certainly worth a return visit.

Strolling through Cap Ferrat at lunchtime stopped on impulse at Le Sloop a table for four facing the marina was available menus and drinks offered. The fish soup was a meal in itself. Given the location fish was an obvious and as it transpired excellent choice for all. Desserts were works of art it seemed a shame to damage them.... More

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch with friends in this amazing restaurant. I was with six friends. The location is fantastic on the port. We sat outside and enjoyed the spring warmth. I had the set menu and it was fantastic; I enjoyed fois gras, asparagus, sea bream and a wonderful macaroon desert. We drank plenty of wine and had a jolly... More

The well-named Sloop restaurant overlooking the yacht marina provides an excellent lunch menu for 32eu, including amuse-bouches, truffle ravioli, filleted loup and a delicious dessert. The chef is aiming high, and getting there. Each dish beautifully arranged to ravish the eye as well as the tongue…Madame served us with friendly aplomb, and speaks English if desired.

I love the sloop. It has an easy mixture of sensational food, good service, a beautiful view and a warm and friendly welcome. The menu is always delicious and gets you to try different things, it is hand writen every day and it is always a good excuse if I mistranslate anything that the writing was to fault. My father... Quite quiet as the season is coming to an end but we came here after reading reviews. I went for the 32 euro menu and had the fish soup starter, sea bass main and cheesecake. All lovely and accompanied by a stuffed courgette flower extra. Helpful staff who helped translate the menu and nice half bottle of white wine. Lovely... More
