Lovely and “strange” restaurant in the terrific village of Grimaud. We choose the “Marquise formule”, 28 euro for one appetizer, one dish and a dessert. Important: only cash are accepted, no cards, so remember to take money before! We had a very good dinner, I recommend the huge and fantastic “pissaladière” (a kind of pizza with onions and anchovies) and... More

AMAZING! During my family's week long vacation in the French Riviera we ate at many Michelin rated restaurants, but this place was the BEST by far. The food was divine and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. DeDe , his wife, and family truly put a lot of love into the food and into everything they do. EVERYTHING we ate... More

Booked at the last minute but he still gave us a good table at the front. Very pleasant host, nothing was too much trouble, excellent meal and very reasonably priced wine.will definitely go again.

We felt completely at home in the restaurant with the enthusiastic owner and the delicious food. The restaurant was completely full and we saw all smiling faces. The atmosphere is very nice and we would definitely recommend this restaurant!

This really doesn't rate 2*, more like 1*.... None of the food is 'best quality', it's all got that bland supermarket pre-bought taste. And the manager/owner is just a self important show off . This isn't French Cuisine by any stretch of any Stretched Frenchman's imagination. And the "Cash Only I Don't Want To Pay Tax" is just taking the... More

We stopped by with friends and were able to get a table in the back. I had salmon which was perfectly prepared . The others in our party we also very pleased with their meals. We will definitely be back, but this time we will make reservations.

A very popular restaurant in this small village with the locals. We managed to get a table as we were there early but booking would be recommended. Proprieter a character in his own right but pretty friendly. We had the 28 euro menu which I have to say was very good with generous portions, I have never seen so much... More

I view food as good as was the ambiance but be warned you will need cash to pay. A British couple play piano for their supper-rather sad!

We went here for the first time after reading other reviews and we were not disappointed. In a tourist dominated area this is a genuinely excellent French restaurant, seemingly packed with locals (we were the only non-French people there). Make sure you book as we did as several people were turned away whilst we were there, and don't be fooled... More

Walking along a cobbled alley in a typical Provencal village is already a relaxing experience, but dining in a stone vaulted cosy restaurant enjoying outstanding food suggested by a friendly owner is worth a trip to Grimaud. First, always book well in advance because the restaurant is small. You will be welcomed with a complimentary "socca", a traditional, crispy and... More
