Located on Boulevard Dubouchage in Nice, Restaurant Aphrodite combines a potent mix of vibrant energy, exciting nouvelle cuisine and seriously stylish customers to create what has become one of the most innovative restaurants in town. Popular with a chichi corporate crowd during the day and discerning diners at night, the modern Mediterranean dining room is dressed in burnt orange and cream colours, and is decorated with contemporary artworks, sleek chairs and lemon-hued lighting. The kitchen at Aphrodite is renowned for its bold cuisine, and signature dishes include the fillet of beef roasted with pine needles and served with apple mashed potatoes; the pigeon roasted with cumin and rosemary served with Chantenay carrots; and the fillet of Saint-Pierre roasted with liquorice, pistachio nuts, purple artichokes and lemons.

Food from Cirque du Soleil

Extremely creative food in most instances a work of art however just a little too fussy. At the end of the meal I am not sure that I like the molecular gastronomy experience. Excellent service.

This is a highly ranked restaurant . We made a reservation long in advance and expectations were high. We did not know it is all about molecular cooking show .... Much of the staff attention is about the show - seems the pre-requisite for hiring is experience in acting and repeating the same explanations each time a new customer enters... More

We went for dinner on 23rd December for my daughter's 18th birthday. We reserved and were welcomed by the wonderful waiters and waitress from the moment we arrived. We have always wanted to try something a bit different and this promised to be our first taste of molecular gastronomy! It was an eleven course delight. Each course was presented by... More

I had heard of Aphrodite and wanted to experience the molecular gastronomie experience. I made a booking thanks to points gained from "spending money"!...Unfortunately the deal with this company didn't allow us to sample other than the "a la carte "menu...so we did. The food was very good but the amiable, baritoned voiced waiter/ maitre D....made the meal and the... More

I don't understand how their lunch menu is so inexpensive. Super interesting dishes of very high quality. The interior decor is pretty 90's but that doesn't matter as you'll be staring at your plate the whole time anyways. Service was fantastic. You'd be hard pressed to spend 31 euros in a better way.

This is the best meal we have ever had... We are from California and none of the 5 star restaurants even compare! Fabulous service and a memorable dining experience. Memorable!

We went here for a fabulous lunch, a lovely setting with a gorgeous waterfall and outdoor seating. We opted for the set lunch, it came with a pre course of a deconstructed egg mayonnaise, then a gorgeous risotto with quail, a lightly cooked fish, coconut and lentil dish followed by poached figs in red wine. The dessert was too sweet... More

We went there for lunch and booked online with a discount. Service is amazing, very friendly and what you expect from this kind of restaurant standards. We were too full at the end of the meal as pre-dessert was offered and each dish is very generous. Desserts very good, dishes might have been a bit too salty sometimes for me... More

We have known about this restaurant for some time, just waiting for someone to tell us if worth visiting! and then friends invited us for dinner there and all was revealed! We were well looked after by the female maitre d’hotel and waiters, meals presented in great details and with flair. Everything was in the spirit of a starred restaurant... More

Top cuisine in centre of Nice. Relaxt ambiance. We had a 5-course lunch with 20 people and everbody was delighted by the quality and refined taste of each dish. The staff understand their metier and made it a highly enjoyable afternoon for us! Highly recommended in every way!
