A place to go again and again !

After several disappointments in the old part of Nice, this adress was a litteral breakthrough ! The location is good, the decoration and the atmosphere are both cute and intimate without being cheesy . As for the service and the food I found nothing to complain about although I'm quite picky... read more

Visited for lunch today using a groupon two course voucher and thoroughly enjoyed our visit from start to finish. Sat outside at the front as we were first to arrive at midday (only time available to book using this particular voucher) and the entire restaurant soon filled up. Very polite, helpful and pleasant waitress served us throughout, allowing me to... More

Last Friday we found this lovely restaurant on the narrow streets of Nice and taught that it was just the right place to have dinner. Couldn't be wronger! We sat three and ordered for two plus a bottle of red wine. So the manager "kindly" shouted at us that the place was full(even if there were two tables free next... More

We managed to get a table without booking in this quirky beautiful restaurant (down the lane at the back). The gratin to start was amazing, the asparagus risotto for main was up there with the best I have tasted, and the assortment of mini deserts was heavenly. It is cheaper to have 3 courses rather than just 2, oddly. I... More

Awful food and service. Enough said. Would not return or recommend. I had lamb which strangely arrived within 3 mins of ordering, it was Luke warm at best and mashed potatoe was not mashed properly and very unpleasant. Wine came to table in an ice bag which was full of water (no ice) dripping everywhere each time it was poured.... More

Ordered lamb (La souris d'agneau). It was tough, sinewy and very difficult to slice any meat from the bone. The waiters’ response was curt and disinterested – they did not make any attempt to check the quality of the dish for themselves – it was as if they knew. A replacement was provided but we declined – why would a... More

Went for dinner last night. Actually attracted by wacky decor inside. However we were escorted around the back to an equally nice space in a tiny side street. For starters we had goat cheese crumble. Really enjoyed beautifully prepared. For the main course we had the scallops (done in a different way and very tasty) and a lovely creamy risotto... More

I just got back to my hotel after dinner at this lovely little restaurant that I stumbled across in the old town of Nice. A nice menu full of choices based on in-season produce and meats. The service was good and the welcome warm. The main restaurant filled up quickly, and was clearly not your average tourist crowd...it was mostly... More

Both things I ordered: smoked salmon with bread and foie gras as a starter, and lamb with potatoes as the main course tasted okay. The starter can be called good, but certainly not great (implying that the main course can NOT be called good in any case). You would expect the food to taste much better for a 40EUR dinner... More
