I ordered fish and chips which perhaps means something different in Nice but next to the chips was something about the size of a cricket ball. There was barely any fish under the batter. This, alongside the poor service (on a day when the bar was hardly busy) made for a less than satisfactory experience.

A brisk walk from the beach you end up on Rue Saint François De Paule, a lively old part of of the town with few nice architectures, tons of restaurants and souvenir shops. The atmosphere is invigorating. There with an open terrace this Irish joint Ma-Nolan's welcomes you. Inside was this hight ceiling, cool looking bar, good music and the... More

After being on food that was nothing like home, we came across Ma Nolans, boy did it fix us right up, the food was awesome only thing being a bit pricey and they offer free wifi, score. Sometimes the staff are so busy they can come across as rude but apart from that it's okay. Would most defiantly recommend you... More

Came in to watch some football, have a bite to eat and drink a few beers during a weekend in Nice and found Ma Nolans to be excellent for those needs. We got a great seat with a superb view of the screen (there's a few around so easy to get a good view) and checked with the barman that... More

While spending the week in Nice over Xmas, I noticed that Ma Nolan's offered Xmas dinner. My wife is vegetarian so we went in the day before to check on the menu. The Manager, Barry introduced us to Ian the Chef who discussed the menu which was varied and reasonably priced. He described what he would make for for my... More

A comfortable Irish pub with style and an excellent kitchen is hard to find outside Ireland and the UK. This place has a modern, authentic feel and good service. The location beside the main city market is perfect - easy to get to and from. We have visited a few times when in Nice, including for Christmas lunch this year... More
