I went here on the recommendation of a friend. You go downstairs and it was cute, different. I liked the wine and the fresh bread was great. Would have liked olive oil with it though. The pasta was fresh and cheese was good.

So long as cheese is your thing this is the place to go. In the cellar of the building away from the huslte of the street above, each dish is cheese centred. A good range of reasonable wines and juices. Well worth a visit for something a little different.

We received a recommendation for this place and sought it out in the old part of the city. Looking in the door of the restaurant looks disappointing, but then we were taken down stairs into the centuries old basement cellar. Wow! Really fantastic atmosphere. Wecame early (7:30ish) and were seated right away. We had two servers that spoke good English... More

3 of us went (on good recommendations from friends), shared 2 starters, 2 entrees, and one dessert...and a fabulous red wine! We decided to order and share to enjoy a variety since everything on the menu looked good. The burratta was brilliant! and do not miss the lemon tarte. It's rich and lemony with a killer crust and they finish... More

As a foodie, i found this place to be too extreme to enjoy; The setting was wonderful as was the quality of food, but the flavour combination and service was not great. It's hard to relax and eat when the 2 wait staff were running past us, bounding up and down stairs, trying to do the job that required twice... More

After reading the reviews, and loving cheese like I do, I thought this would be the end-all, be-all dining experience. While the atmosphere was very romantic, and overall, the food was good, the service and wine left little to be desired. Our waiter energetically offered the couple next to us various choices in wine, but when I did not like... More

This is a great restaurant. We booked a reservation for early in the evening and upon arriving we were greeted warmly by a friendly host. Located in an old wine cellar, the atmosphere is rustic, cozy, and unique. The menu had great options and the food was excellent. The owner helped us with the menu and more importantly with the... This was our second visit to this very special place. Non descript, entrance but then you are led down the stairs to a series of little cave like rooms, stone walls etc. Enchanting! Walls of wine, too. The friendly and funny young owner takes orders, explains the menu, brings the wine. No formal wine list...he asks what you like, the... More

A place you would otherwise (straight from the street) never visit as it is rather invisible. Luckily we read the reviews beforehand and visited Nice in September (so were able to get a table for the same evening). The restaurant was spectacular - great food, cosy atmosphere (although in a cellar), unbelievable service - spoke perfect English and funny. Great... More

This restaurant was suggested by a local and we didn't have a reservation, but they squeezed us in. Reserve if you plan to go! The place is packed. The staff were attentive, made excellent suggestions about the menu all in great English. The food is fresh and authentic, a must-visit restaurant!
