We choose this restaurant due to its simplicity of the menu, quirky atmosphere and it's apparent popularity. The service started at a pace with menus quickly being dispatched and orders taken. The starter took some time to arrive and then we waited at least 45 minutes for the plates to be cleared, when my daughter pointed this out to the... More

We had the set menu. It took a while to receive the onion soup, and not because of the waiter. He was really fast and brought our menus and drinks immediately. After the soup, everything came in due time. The food was very good, but we were a little disappointed in the dessert - we expected something more from poire... More

After a few days in Nice, we were yet to find a restaurant that wowed us, most looked pretty 'touristy' with cocky young men trying to lure punters in by having a bit of banter with them as they walked by. Chez juliette however didn't seem to have any gimmicky touristy stuff and stood out from the other restaurants with... More

when we asked if a table for 2 was available, thw waiter advised us that because it was so busy it would be a while before we would be served but he brought us to a table and we had the most beautiful meal when it was served, well worth the wait

The restaurant is quirky and attractive and in a bustling touristy area and the service was fine. However, the food was made using poor quality ingredients and I would say the average student could prepare a better Coq au Vin. The carafe of house wine was pretty rough and could probably be purchased for 2 Euros in the local supermarket.... More

We ate at Chez Juliette on the same day that we had visit Ile de Lerins, Cannes and the Vieux Ville. At lunch we'd had a meal withpoor service and average food, and were hoping for something more inspiring that evening. We passed Rue de l'Abbaye on the way to Chez Juliette, which looked enticing and (we discovered later from... More

I was warmly greeted by the hostess and she explain the menu before I sat down and i decided to go with one of their specials...The menu is limited but you can find... More

Food quality just ok, house wine overpriced with half litre for 14.5 euro. Service was poor. When making coment to Juliette she was defensive and said this is France......the fact is we found great food and service every day and this place was a big disappointment as was owners attitude.

I usually look around for a restaurant that is local (the more locals the better) try to steer clear of the tourists and tourist traps. This is a great little place right in the centre of the old town so you can still take in the night life if you want to. We had a very pleasant meal. Met a... More

This is a quirky, fun, eating experience. We would recommend that you make a reservation, as it seems very popular with those who want something of French country cooking, with local color, at a fair price. In the center of the Old Town. We ate outdoors to a lively ambiance. A lovely salad to start. The Onion Soup was different... More
