We came here for dinner and it was a good experience. We sat outside on the street where you can soak up some of the nicoise atmosphere. Food was good and service was fine. Worth a visit. There are better restaurants in the town but this one delivers decent food and decent serivce in nice surroundings,

We came across this restaurant and thought it looked lovely with the original decor and tasty-sounding menu. We sat down and were given the menu on the little hand-written blackboard, which, while it gives a homemade touch, isn't really very practical as a lot of our menu had been smudged and we couldn't read it, or had to guess what... We reserved a table as restaurants in the old town area can get busy. A friend had recommended this place and we opted for the A la Carte 3 course menu. The food and service was good and the meal for two of us that included a bottle of red wine came to £39, Not Bad!

The food, the friendly service, the pretty tables on the side of a square near Place Rossetti - it is all charming and we go every time we are in Nice. The food is home style and flavoursome; try the French Onion Soup, the Coq au Vin, the Tarte Tatin. The salads with baked cheeses are also good. If you're... More

The restaurant is placed in a nice little square in Vieux Nice and the menu on the blackboard was appealing. We took the menu with onion soup, cocq au vin and the only available desert, a pear with chocolate. Our waiter was fast, polite and smiling and brought us the menus and the drinks quite fast. Then, we had to... More

Been several times. If you want to try some good old fashioned food, this is for you. Try the Medaillons de porc...and the snails

I used to eat at this restaurant 10 years ago, so coming back to Nice after all those years I just could not resist to eat there again. Excellent food and presentation, attentive service and a very appealing ambiance. My duck breast with pears and honey sauce was second to none. ... And when I mentioned my last visit 10... More

We went there twice. I must admit that they were slow due to the huge amount of customers. However, food quality was great given the price. Worth the visit!

We choose this restaurant due to its simplicity of the menu, quirky atmosphere and it's apparent popularity. The service started at a pace with menus quickly being dispatched and orders taken. The starter took some time to arrive and then we waited at least 45 minutes for the plates to be cleared, when my daughter pointed this out to the... More

We had the set menu. It took a while to receive the onion soup, and not because of the waiter. He was really fast and brought our menus and drinks immediately. After the soup, everything came in due time. The food was very good, but we were a little disappointed in the dessert - we expected something more from poire... More
