Exquisite

So good we visited twice in a week! Cocktails on arrival was a delightful surprise. Very friendly and attentive staff, delicious and beautifully presented dishes. (The salmon gravelax starter is to die for!) Respectable wine list - definite value for money. An absolute must visit.

Absolutely loved this place! We had such a amazing dinner in Hangout. Very fresh and sour aperitiv & basic but tasty rosé with food. My dad took a set menu á 38€ including three dishes. I picked three courses from the carta. My garden sald to start was a die for. Never tasted this kind of sald, flavours was perfectly... More

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend in London who is an incredible chef himself...So I had high hopes before I arrived?! I was certainly not disappointed at all!! The staff where incredibly friendly when we arrived, a perfect cocktail to start! Their knowledge of the menu was fantastic..But the food... Oh my.. It lived up to expectations and... More

As a solo traveller with little French language skills, I felt daunted going into most restaurants. However, the waiter and waitress who served me were very kind and had a good level of English that helped me feel at home. It manages not to feel like a tourist's restaurant though, which is great - its a proper modern French experience.... More

The staff are very professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. The Decor is really nice, modern, complete with nice outdoor area in the tiny street it is on, set apart and refreshingly not shoved next door to some low grade kebab style place as many other places in the old town are. It is set out with an open kitchen, which... More

My husband and I along with our 2yr old stumbled upon HANgout by chance while walking through Nice. Not only was the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming but the food was excellent. I would highly reccomend the Fois Gras Creme Brûlée! It was beyond delicious. We left 3 very satisfied guests. Try it!

We wanted to find somewhere special for our first wedding anniversary and HANgout proved to be the perfect place. I'd had an upset stomach all day but was determined to still go out and eat just a little..I had three courses. Irresistible. The peach dessert, which the waiter advised me to have, was not like any other dessert I'd had... More

(English reviews on this below) I visited twice and was amazed twice. It is located on the narrow alley of the old town and hard to find, but it's worth going. The chef Mr. Kamiya is Japanese and he has god hands. If you luckily find the roasted pigeon on the daily menu, must never... More

Average level of taste on the main course beef and a dull panacotta for dessert. The staff is lacking general waitress experience and needs basic training. The establishment is located in a very cozy alley in the old town.

Small restaurant in a small alley away from the main thoroughfare - but don't let that scare you. The food is absolutely superb, the best we had during our 11 days stay in Italy and France. Highly recommended! Even the coffee tasted better than anywhere else.
