Pucci is a concept born around two main specialties , meat and pizza, and a philosophy of authenticity and excellence. We make the authentic Italian pizza, with the additional bonus of using the traditional sourdough, that we created ourselves from the natural fermentation of honey and raisins, and we garnish it with top-notch ingredients, cured meat, cheese and produce that come directly from Italy. The sourdough we prepare is made without using any additional yeast and it rises by natural fermentation only, which makes it exceptionally digestible, light and raised. For the meat we have the exclusive in France for the meat specialties of the butchery "Antica Macelleria Cecchini" owned and run by Dario Cecchini, the most renowned butcher in the world, based in Panzano in Chianti (Florence). People come from all around the world to meet him and taste his very special meat cuts, including the famous Fiorentina T-bone steak, so it's a very special privilege we have to have gained his trust for our work, which allowed us to work with this extraordinary professional. His unique work ethic is based on the respect for the life of the animal, or as he calls it "the responsibility to take a life", so he guarantees a humane treatment to his kettle and uses every single part of the animal for a different dish, in order not to waste any of its worth. Our chef, Stephane Lassus, is an experienced French chef who has worked for quite a few upscale etoiles restaurants in France and Italy, where he spent 15 years perfecting his knowledge of the Italian cuisine. His attention to the quality of the ingredients, the mastery of the proper techniques and his attention to detail makes every single dish that comes out of our kitchen a little work of art. Even something that is often trivialized like pizza, can be a dish prepared and presented with meticulousness like no matter what other gourmet dish. In addition, our decor is very simple because we always put our main focus on the essence of the restaurant which is the excellence of the dish and the carefulness of the service, we've never aimed at having a trendy decor but we love to impress our guests once they get their dish to their table. We're also far from the tourist area, which was a choice based on our budget of course, but also something that hasn't stopped our guests to take a couple of minutes by car or public transport to join us and experience something unique that they cannot find in the busy tourist area. Finally, Pucci has received the recognition from the Italian Republic for the brand "Italian Hospitality - Quality Approved" that certifies the authenticity of our Italian products and cuisine.

I booked on Trip Advisor over a week ago but they decided to cancel my booking with 4 hours to go . I think they should have given me at least 24 hours to find an alternative especially as it is a Holiday !

I have found Trip Advisor reports of hotels can be deciphered relatively easily to provide a reliable picture of what to expect at any one hotel. If only I could say the same with regard to restaurant reports but, regrettably, I have not found this to be the case. I have come to realise that many people’s memories of eating... More

I went to Pucci based on a recommendation, I normally think Italian restaurants abroad can hardly compete with local Italian restaurants.. Pucci is an exception to my rule: authentic taste, good ingredients and a pleasant environment. Strongly recommend.

Look no further if you are looking for authentic italian food in Nice. I arrived there quite famished and Pucci didn't disappoint me. I cannot recommend this enough. Try it for yourself.

I have spent a bit of time in Italy and I have got totally got used to its amazing cusine, second to none! So, once I come to Nice, I saw the feedbacks on Pucci Restaurant and decided to go. Well, I remained amazed – my friends and I tasted both the pizza and the meat: both extremely tasty and... More

Pucci is simply lovely. I was recommended by a friend who raved about this amazing pizzeria in Nice, went looking for it, got a whiff of aromatic sourdough baking upon arrival and was instantly ravenous. Although it was just me, I ordered a pizza (La nostra Tonno e Cipolla - tuna & onion), steak (La Costata Fiorentina dell'Antica Macelleria Cecchini)... More

Having picked Pucci as a destination based on excellent TripAdvisor reviews, we were a tiny bit disappointed when we got there. Having gone a long way out of our way to get there, the place was somewhat lacking in atmosphere. The service was friendly enough but our waitress was having to do everything herself and she was stretched. The pizzas, however,... More

One of the best pizza we ever had! Their secret is the particular pizza bread. Everything fresh and tasty. Service is very friendly.
