Wonderfully fresh local ingredients used at this "bistro du marche". We enjoyed delicious ravioles de royan in a tomato basil broth, followed by the day's special of mixed seafood a la plancha. Everything was prepared to order by the chef/owner, while his wife graciously looked after the front of house. This is a wonderful find in Nice, where there are so many mediocre restaurants.

Charming place, good food and wine, nice jazz..

A nice small restaurant serving good home cooked food accompanied by keenly priced quality wines. There were 8 covers including us and le patron was the chef and server. So at times we waited a longer time to be served as he sought to juggle both roles! Food was lovely. A very small point was that... read more

On a recent business trip to Nice, a friend took me to this cute little restaurant. He had told me that it had received great reviews on trip advisor, but I was still a little bit skeptical, since we were the only two guests. It was a Tuesday evening and Nice was extremely quiet. Another restaurant would've sent us away,... More

Amazing-loved the food, went for lunch to this one man band restaurant. It's foodie heaven. Service is brilliant although can take a while as the owner does everything himself - it's worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Found this super little restaurant for lunch after a visit to nearby MAMAC contemporary art gallery. Charming ambience, Excellent fish main course prepared on the spot by owner/chef, followed by delicious chocolate pudding. Food fresh, flavoursome and presented with care. Reasonable price considering the quality. Highly recommended as a refreshing change from the many "touristy" eateries in Nice.

We ate here yesterday and had the duck with figs and beef in red wine. The duck was very tender and juicy. The cook understood our different requests of degrees of doneness. The food was very well prepared, the cook/owner/waiter, all in one, knows how to handle his food, you can tell by the taste and the way he displays... More

This is my fourth visit to Nice and my first time at this little gem of a restaurant. I went there largely because of other reviews I read. My sons and I ordered off a prix fixe menu. You can either order an appetizer and main course or a main course and dessert. One son had a shrimp appetizer and... More

We went here here last and had a fabulous meal. The hospitality from the manager who is also the chef was exceptional.

Went here with partner and teenager, we had three courses so between us tried more than half the dishes on the menu: all were superb. Great meat and fish dishes with good use of herbs, nice selection of wines, delicious desserts especially those involving chocolate. Everything is freshly prepared in the small premises in a calm and amiable way by... More
