Great local spot on the port with very good pasta's

Since we were staying on the other side of the port during our 7 weeks there we visited Barque Bleue 4 times. We had the pacchieri a la 'ndjua, buccatini puntanesca, the muddles Sicily, & falafale biscaislo to name a few dishes. All very good. One visitor we brought there had the salmon over pasta... read more

Lovely tropical French harbour bistro in nice old town. Starters follow the usual selection of bread, olives and tapenade. Fresh fish weighed , cooked and de-boned in front of you. Great value for money considering quality of service and food.

Whenever we visit Nice we go to this restaurant. I love everything about it. When sitting outside, the view of the Hill, especially @ night is superb. The staff are really nice and efficient and the food is just lovely. A great dining experience everytime we have visited.

We chose this restaurant after strolling the choices along the harbor. A bit too cool to eat outside. Comfortable dining room. My husband enjoyed his fish selection. I should not have ordered lamb in a restaurant on the harbor. So it was my fault that I was disappointed. Seems to be a favorite spot for people who live nearby -... More

We ended up here on a chilly spring evening, cold and tired. The food was just spectacular and the service was tip top. Some of the best Moules marinière I've ever eaten. We were served by Iskren who was extremely jolly and polite. Located in the port area of Nice, this little gem is definitely a must visit...

This restaurant is located on the quayside of the port which would have been part of Italy until 1865 & so you are surrounded by Italian architecture. The feature of the Barque Bleu is the charming interior salon - try the rear section overlooking the bar with a quantity of pasta jars , wooden panelling & a warm ambiance. Don't... More

Our hostess had used this Italian restaurant many times as she lives nearby. And it was thronged with people and had a good ambience. However, all 3 of us had unbelievably poor food. My Wife's mussels were overcooked and dry and almost no sauce. The young waiter commented: You shouldn't have ordered mussels! Hardly appropriate. I had fatty poor Uncooked... More

My friend and I went to this restaurant the 3rd of March, the service and the view was great, not expensive except the plate a pork meat (16€ for few slice of smocked ham...) we ordered a plate of pasta with salmon and "a la carbonara", with too much of oil, it was really fatty! We were very hungry, so... More
