First night in Nice

Arrived after 7pm on the plane and settled into our hotel. Hungry we headed out for a quick bit of dinner, thinking pizza/pasta. We saw Gigi first but soon changed our mind and came here (see review for Gigi). So glad we did. The seafood pasta my wife had was incredible, my daughters pizza lovely... read more

The pasta, wine, cheese - so perfect. As close you can get to Italian in nice. The pasta is on par with all the pasta dishes that we have eaten in tuscany. Fois gras, truffle cream parpadelle xxxxx

Serving portion is large. Food is okay but the sugar on our creme brulee were over heated. :( The seats are too packed that i hardly hear my friend especially the girls talking & laughing so loud behind us.

This is my second time to this restaurant over the last few years and it was equally, if not more, disappointing . I am a part time local in Nice and have high expectations of seafood restaurants, especially at their price point. Tonight both meals were bland and tasteless, the vegetables overcooked and it took over 30 minutes to get... More

Good Italian food, authentic. Casual and seating outdoors. Service was slow for us but then the owner himself came out and served us our orders. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

We stayed in Nice as a short stay on the way to Italy. We came in the first night and loved it so much we came back the following 2 nights. The food is fresh and beautiful. The service is great and the view is great! Highly recommend the Sea bass too! Great value for money and on our next... More

We visited this restaurant twice for lunch during our recent stay in Nice. Can't beat the location at the port in Nice. Both times my husband had the fish which he said was excellent. As the fish is prepared fresh there is quite a lengthy wait but it was well worth it. Don't know how they cook the chips but... More

Had some super fresh fish and seafood here last night. Mussels, shrimp and rock fish. Other in our party had a spaghetti Bolognese which was very good I'm told. Nice crème brulee and tiramisu topped off dinner nicely. Some reasonably priced French and Italian wines were available. As in all of our lunches and dinners here so far we're just... More

Since we were staying on the other side of the port during our 7 weeks there we visited Barque Bleue 4 times. We had the pacchieri a la 'ndjua, buccatini puntanesca, the muddles Sicily, & falafale biscaislo to name a few dishes. All very good. One visitor we brought there had the salmon over pasta and wasn't as pleased. The... More

Lovely tropical French harbour bistro in nice old town. Starters follow the usual selection of bread, olives and tapenade. Fresh fish weighed , cooked and de-boned in front of you. Great value for money considering quality of service and food.
