Nice family busines and great food

A "portugonostalgic" friend took me there and we were all full and happy. The place offer Portuguese specialities, but I have noticed they do pizzas as well. Portions are big, meat is good as well as fish. Have tried and liked their cod fish with cumin.

Four of us ate at this highly rated restaurant in old town Nice. We weren’t disappointed. The cuisine is Portuguese. We all tried something different and shared. It is small, only 10 or so tables. You sit under an umbrella in the narrow streets of Old Town Nice, so it is a very enjoyable experience. The wine list is small,... More

In a small side lane in the heart of Old Nice, this little restaurant offers generous helpings of home style French food. No one will go hungry here! Not fine dining but good value for money.

Really exceptional and very reasonable. We had the bbq pork ribs. Others had chicken skewers snd cod gratin. The service was good, responsive, helpful, what more can one ask. We would go back again.

Portuguese marinated octopus is a must. Cod dishes were fresh and delicious. Large prawns slightly overcooked kept it from being a five. Informal and inviting. Definitely worth a return trip. Interesting take on tiramisu.

Good but not more than that. We ordered a porto and a pastise as aperitive and 3 min's after the drinks he broight already the food. We had to chose between drinking the apero ad-fundum or leaving the food so it gets vold. You don't want this option in a restaurant. The food itself was good (but a mixed grill... More

We received the best service at this restaurant than any other place we ate at during our 2 weeks in France. Although the restaurant was packed, both servers seemed relaxed and were smiling through the evening. The food was delicious - such a nice change from all the French/Italian meals we've been having. The 3-course fixed menu is a great... More

Located in a cute side-alley in Nice's old town, this place looks romantic and promising. In fact the tables are so close together the staff have difficulty getting around and the food is really very basic and mostly served with roasted vegetables/potatoes regardless of what you have. That said, we had a perfectly edible meal here - it just didn't... More

A very good find for lunch down an alley way in Nice. The Bouillabaisse attracted us in and did not disappoint. Service was excellent and our waiter made us feel at home. Would definitely go again.
