This tiny restaurant has good barbecue! It cured my strong urge for barbecue and without leaving France. Steep hillside street location in the heart old town. Small portions but this is to be expected. Haven't tried the pizza. If you need a taste of home this place will help.

Very nice spot on a charming street. Such good value in this wonderful city. the food was really nice, tasty, substantial. We had starters, 4 mains ( my full fish sea bream - dorade was a hefty plateful and we shared sweets for 4 people, three pitchers of house rose and water and it cost E110. Could not fault it.... In the chaos of Old Town, Nice, it is easy to land in a very pedestrian restaurant with crowded tables and sub-par food at inflated prices. This restaurant is in a very nice location, out of the crowd but still an open feel, and is a friendly family-run place with great food at good prices. This is not gourmet food,... More

We ate here on a recent trip to Nice after a wonder round looking for somewhere to dine we stumbled on this place. It is good value with substantial portions, friendly efficient service and a welcoming atmosphere. There are plenty of places that do good food in Nice and this is one of them. Not outstanding or exceptional but there... More

Everything about this experience was excellent. We were seated quickly and efficiently. Bread and water were on the table in seconds along with our menus. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The food was excellent with portions rather too big to finish but so tempting to try. My wife said the steak was one of the best she has ever... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant with some colleagues when we did not have so much time. The service was friendly, and prices were low (for old town), however, I did not enjoy my dish (cod with potatoes covered served in a casserole). The size of the dish was quite substantial, but I didn't finish it because I did not feel like... More

This place is off on a side-street near old town and we stumbled on it by chance, but it was amazing! They had great options for 3 course meals for very cheap (19 euro or less), I had one with cod & shrimp fritters appetizer and sirloin steak entree that was a very good portion size (I was too full... Previously visited in 2011. Went back twice on our recent visit. Excellent value set menu and house wine reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Pleasant eating area inside and a covered decking area outside down a quite steep lane. The only downside is that smoking is allowed in the outside dining area.

It's near the tramway station, but a little bit hard to find. The business of the restaurant is very good. The meat feast impresses me !!!
