We chose this restaurant after looking at all the restaurants in the Cours Saleya and we were not disappointed. We we warned that there would be a wait as the food is freshly cooked to order. In the middle of the old town market area, this restaurant provides a great meal and good service in the midst of the crowds and the tourist zone. I've been able to enjoy this place a couple of times this year and have found both times very enjoyable, great food and selection, good wines and great service. I've been here... More

We were looking for breakfast and the board outside had some options but the waiter was extremely rude - he came over, looked at us and said, "I'm listening", then after looking at him he said, what do you want to drink? (All in French but I speak French well), no offer of menu or breakfast. I tried to call... More

We dined here for lunch and dinner on two different days, having previously had lunch here two years ago. It was worth searching out again. Salads are excellent at lunch, as is the wine by the glass. Dinner was very good, the special fresh fish of the day delicious. Nice setting. Le Café Des Fleurs would be our choice again... More

Had dinner with my wife - a Calzone and a bucket of mussels with fries, a glass of coke and a cup of wine, and coffee. Great food, big portions, great and funny stuff. Not expensive!

With no real expectations a friend and I were tired of shopping so decided to take a break, have some wine and a light supper. We were lucky enough to stop by sheer chance at this delightful restaurant in the old part of town. The waiter, a Corsican, suggested a Sauvignon Blanc which was delicious (not from the Nice region... More

Have just spent a very pleasant week in Nice with my wife, we called in here three nights for a drink and on the last night had a meal. The rstaurant is modern with friendly and helpful staff. Before we ate there the owner said most of the meals to be had around the flower market were designed for tourists... More

Nice seems to have about 100 eateries to choose from in or very near its fashionable yet historic market, the Cours Saleya. Le Café des Fleurs is one of the better ones in the reasonably priced niche. There were four of us for lunch, with a range of pasta, pizza, soup and salads. I was particularly impressed by my salad... More

In good position ( the old market), very nice atmosphere, midcentury style furnishing. We went there for dinner on a sunday night, a large family. the host was very good at his work, friendly and very helpful. He described with passion the dishes. However, the expectation were high and the food did not kept the promise. The plates were very... More
