We enjoyed a warm welcome and were offered a kir provencale to drink while we decided on our food. Nice but naughty price at €13. There is a blackboard menu (including an English version - some items a little tricky to understand, as the french is quite complex to start with) - selection of seafood, fish, meat and vegetable options.... Away from the tourists, filled with locals, comfortable interior, welcoming staff. Traditional, old school French cuisine but with imagination and modern touches. Menu changes monthly. Affordable lunch menu plus a 28 euro evening menu. Good deals! We ordered a la carte, also moderately priced. Entrees were fresh and beautifully plated, not overly large. Mains of duck breast and fish were... More

Found restaurant near hotel. It looked authentically French. Warm welcome from owner. Just had main course which was delicious. Well presented and beautifully cooked. Wine good. Will go back.

A quick early dinner place recommended by the hotel. A bit worried when entering the restaurant as the sole customer but in all fairness, it as still quite early for the dinner time for locals. I got immediate friendly service in English, I don't manage with French to my embarrassment in this country, got an English menu while ordered my... More

This is the third time we are eating at this place. And the food is keeping the same high qualité. Typical french interieur, very friendly staff. Good atmosphere. One of the best in Nice. To be highly recommended.

This is now the 4th time we spent in this restaurant. The first time i wrote a nice review and the subsequent 2 times were also full of very positive surprises. We recently went a 4th time and i would like to restate that this cuisine is an absolute revelation in terms of creativity and cuisine. The chef has every... More

This restaurant was recommended to be by a Nice native. I had plat de jour which consisted of lamb in pastry served with mash veg and rosemary gravy. The portion size wasn't huge but if you eat the accompanying bread basket then you won't leave hungry. The waiters were friendly and spoke English. They also have a menu in English.... More

This is my second trip to Nice and my second trip to this restaurant! Great atmosphere, welcoming owner and fantastic food. Came away stuffed. It was the owners 7th year of owning the restaurant the night we visited so it was free champagne all round! We will definitely be back.
