Great value for money

This place is hidden in the streets behind the train station in Nice but well worth seeking out. Great value for money. Great food. Great, and very unusual for France, happy friendly, assertive waiting staff. All round great place. It's a real shame many other eateries in Nice do not follow this... read more

Having just travelled in by train from Italy, I was hoping for a bit of a "wow" experience with this well-rated restaurant. Unfortunately, we were disappointed not only by the food, but also in the waiter who wasn't friendly (perhaps he didn't like us attempting to speak his language). As this was our first stop in France enroute to Paris,... More

Located close to the station. Choose the tasting menu which was of a very high standard. Friendly staff and an informed wine suggestion all contributed to a very enjoyable evening.

We had just over an hour to get some food between trains and found this on Tripadvisor as the best near the station. We said we only had an hour (having just returned from Italy where meals took ages to arrive) and the main courses arrived within about 10 mins. and were really good. We had the duck and the... We enjoyed a lovely set menu meal at this restaurant which is in a side street near the station, the only downside was the lack of air conditioning on a warm evening - we were envious of those sitting outside. The food was well prepared and the menu had a good choice and service was perfect

We eat here recently as we were staying in a nearby hotel which recommended Voyageur Nissart. The staff were friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my red mullet and my husband had steak with pepper sauce. Both were delicious! For desserts we chose Creme Brûlée & Lemon tart. Again both were most enjoyable. My husband felt the draft beer wasn't great... More

The food here was very good local food. The Resturant had been in there family for a long time so they are traditional and reasonably priced. We would go again

We sought this place out after reading a glowing review in the telegraph. We were expecting great things..and we got them!! The kind and knowledgeable waiters inspired us with their love of the food they served. I had the stuffed vegetables..almost a meal in itself..it was truly Devine. The soft rabbit beautifully cooked and presented was devoured rapidly..the lyonnaise potatoes... More
