Excellent local choice

This was our fourth visit and I think that it is necessary to say that the quality and high standards of this wonderful little restaurant have been maintained beautifully. Local produce and dishes are so tasty that I wish I could get there more often but I only get to Nice once a year. Thank you to... read more

This is the kind of place you really don't want to tell other people about because you know the next time you try and book its going to be full....of the people you told! Max and his small but energetic staff deliver outstanding Nicoise inspired menus. With daily changes and constant favorites this is always going to deliver on taste... More

Another great dinner at this lovely place. Most of what you are served here are great. And the price for the food and the wine are also great. So for great food and drinks for a great price, this is one of my tips in Nice :-)

The restaurant is small, managed by gentle guys. Food and wine are excellent, prices good. Please do not expect giant portions or mountain of uncooked fish as in Paris. The typical cuisine of Nice combines old traditional tasted from the mainland and from the coast: fish, lamb, cheese, cow, sauces, innards....Dessert, especially are all homemade and their quality is superb.

the price is reasonable but the food is not as good as the comments said. i ordered the beef which is normal. the house white wine tastes very strange. The taste of food is very normal. I am not sure whether it is because the niciose food is that normal or what.

We went to this restaurant after reading a glowing note by the France based journalist of our Sunday Paper. It proved a bad decision.First impressions were good,a very bright setting of red& white from the check table cloths to the staff aprons. A pleasant welcome & a bottle of good wine quickly arrived. Our starters were not particularly good but we... More

This is a fabulous little restaurant. Go the set menu it is great value and great choices. We ate there 3 times and each time it was great. We got there at 7pm when it opened as it gets very busy later and getting a table is hard.

This restaurant gets a creepy status for something odd we found outside of how bad the restaurant was. We had one night in Nice. What a shame we were led here. People wrote about it being a possible off day, or that they'd had a good experience... really? Yuk. The prices were so high for starters... and we had to... More
