This small, charming restaurant is situated between the train station and Jean Medecin avenue. The restaurant seats 45 people inside and 25 outside, creating an intimate atmosphere. On a typical menu are Nicois dishes as ravioli nicois, daube nicoise and petits farcis. Traditional, simple and delicious, the recipes have been handed down from over one century, from generation to generation. The food here was very good local food. The Resturant had been in there family for a long time so they are traditional and reasonably priced. We would go again

Food is very good indeed and the staff pleasant and friendly. The set menu is excellent value for money. We definitely look forward to going back when we are next in Nice.

We sought this place out after reading a glowing review in the telegraph. We were expecting great things..and we got them!! The kind and knowledgeable waiters inspired us with their love of the food they served. I had the stuffed vegetables..almost a meal in itself..it was truly Devine. The soft rabbit beautifully cooked and presented was devoured rapidly..the lyonnaise potatoes... More

I had found this before travelling so we knew where we going on the first night. It was less than 10 mins walk form the hotel and it was lovely! A good choice and good value. We both chose the 3 course formule menu. The restaurant quickly got busy and the staff were superb.

It is always a pleasure to visit this restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff and exceptional value. The fixed price menus are tremendous value as is the house wine. The quality of the cooking is good and the size of the dishes just right in my opinion.

Warm welcome and very nice meal. The owner dealt with the difficult challenge for a nicoise restaurant of an allergy to poivrons/ bell peppers.

We were told about this place by a tour guide he said it had some amazing local food and that lots of locals use this restaurant so this is the place we wanted to try and we weren't disappointed one bit. The food was great and the service was top notch too, it was that good that we came back... More

Whenever we visit Nice, which is often, our first evening is always spent at VN where we are made to feel most welcome. Wines are really good and reasonably priced as is the food. Menus are varied and there is always something to tempt most palates. Fresh fish is always available plus the usual Nicoise dishes which must be tried!... More

The folks at our hotel (Nice Excelsior Chateaux & Hotels Collection) recommended Voyageur Nissart and my wife and I are extremely happy they did. The food was quite good but what made the experience truly exceptional was the owner (Maxime de Vaere) and his staff. I regret the delay in writing this review and cannot remember the names of the...
