Voyageur Nissart was perfect for a no-frills meal with CHEAP wine and very polite (English-speaking!) servers. When my husband and I finished our meal, we both agreed that nothing we ate "knocked our socks off," but everything was tasty enough. As for the value? Unrivaled! We started off with a Salade niçoise and the stuffed vegetables, our mains were the... More

Handy for and recommended by our hotel (the very good Nice Excelsior). A proper family business serving hearty authentic local fare in generous portions and at a modest price. Staff are notably warm-hearted and patient. I very much look forward to returning.

Lashing rain on Easter Sunday night so we went to this restaurant as it was closest to the hotel Nice Excelsior. It's very popular and we had to queue for a short while. There's an amazing buzz here and the staff are super friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the food, the lamb was particularly good. It really is good value,... More

Disappointing meal in a very over- crowded and understaffed restaurant. One waiter who did his best ,but couldn't cope with about 40 covers including a party of 12 noisy women whose table was 6 inches behind me, so I was being continuously being jostled. Wrong starter delivered. Help did arrive, but too late. Couldn't wait to get out !

This place was suggested by others, and indeed is was an excellent choice. All the food that our group got was excellent, and the wine choices were quite reasonable. The staff was very friendly. We had no trouble booking a reservation for 7 the same day, but the place (which is rather small) filled up quickly, so reservations are recommended.... More

We have being going to this restaurant for a few years and I have to say it is great value. 16,40 for three courses and their pichets of wine are tasty! There is a choice of 5/6 starters, mains and puddings. The service is excellent and the staff and fabulous! I really think this is one of the best places... More

We first visited on a wet Sunday evening in March and were charmed by both the warm welcome and the cosy atmosphere - we opted for the cheapest fixed price menu but were well pleased with the choice of dishes and the quality of the food presented. The restaurant quickly filled up as we worked our way through the courses,... More

We earlyish arrived to find a bustling and welcoming restaurant. It quickly filled and people were soon queueing outside. We ate from the Nicoise menu and drank perfectly palatable house rose. Great food, great atmosphere, great value and a real experience. A little bit off the beaten track but definitely worth the walk!

Excellent place to eat, away from the tourist traps. Friendly staff and very nice locally sourced food served with a smile. You will need to book as it is very popular.
