Dreadful wine, poor service, food ok

Tried the set menu. Starters Ok. Husband enjoyed his main course beef with gnocchi, my pasta was all right. Didn't bring us our bottle of water but it was on the bill. A dirty carafe of water remained on the table from previous diners. Had a Kir that had an unpleasant after taste. Normally adding... read more

There is lots of choice of restaurants in the Nice old town and have tried many of them over the years. This place is a real gem, good cooking, attentive service, and great value.

I cannot begin to tell you how horrific this restaurant is. The unique decor made it look interesting almost pretty from the outside and the fact that several unsuspecting customers had already been drawn in made us decide to enter. The food is beyond awful, my half a chicken was huge but amazingly contained no edible meat! It was also... More

We sat outside, so didn't really see inside much. We ordered the 'typical' local dish of beef stew, thinking this would be safe...no...I didn't order it, but I got it anyway, who knows what happened to my order?? I didn't mind and it was fun watching the chef trying to make sense of the orders on the next table! The... More

I have no words for how horrible this place was. The restaurant is filthy and so cluttered with junk artifacts all over the walls and tables. The wine glasses were just filthy and the wine my husband ordered was so sour it was definitely rancid. No bread, no water. We ordered pizza, hoping that's the one dish that's difficult to... More

We have just eaten there and am not normally one to post reviews but this was absolutely horrendous! No tap water, old mussels, undercooked ravioli and finally a massive sheet of cling film (plastic) in the main dish. We would have settled this quietly and left (without paying for the pretty dismall dishes) but instead we were confronted with the... More

The friendly waiters and the quirky look to this restaurant attracts customers. The food is terrible. The beef fillet was chewy and full of fat. We were served a plate of sardines and the last one we got to was raw. The waiter didn't seem concerned but offered to take the plate away and either re heat or replace, but... More

The food was disgusting and we were't the only ones who thought so the couple next to us didn't say anything but the returned food and look of disgust said it all. Another couple informed the waitress of the terrible food and the two male-staff came out to him and threatened him with the police after arguing with him he... More

We ate here on a warm summer eve, deciding to opt for the 3 course €16.60 menu. I opted for the Niçoise salad, followed by beef stew and pistachio ice cream. All options were simply lovely. The staff were most accommodating and it was full of French folk which is the ultimate , meaning for me that locals use it,... More

Group of us came here as it looked nice, started off very well but for some reason had to wait 45 min after our main for dessert. We asked the waiter for our dessert and he replied "I didn't serve you" and ignored us. We then waited for the bill which never came so we had to leave the money... More
