Food was ok, service was the disappointment

Group of us came here as it looked nice, started off very well but for some reason had to wait 45 min after our main for dessert. We asked the waiter for our dessert and he replied "I didn't serve you" and ignored us. We then waited for the bill which never came so we had to leave the money... read more

The food was disgusting and we were't the only ones who thought so the couple next to us didn't say anything but the returned food and look of disgust said it all. Another couple informed the waitress of the terrible food and the two male-staff came out to him and threatened him with the police after arguing with him he... More

We ate here on a warm summer eve, deciding to opt for the 3 course €16.60 menu. I opted for the Niçoise salad, followed by beef stew and pistachio ice cream. All options were simply lovely. The staff were most accommodating and it was full of French folk which is the ultimate , meaning for me that locals use it,... More

The restaurant looks nice from the outside and promises local specialities. The outside seats along the wall are very narrow and if you need to take a pee, you might not be able to go out. We tried the 3 course meal for Eur 16.-- which is cheap, but so was most of the food. We had socca and a... More

I tried the socca here and really enjoyed it. Wait staff were attentive. The atmosphere was very cozy and unhurried. I wonder if service isn't better at the lunch hour than in the evening when they may get very busy?

It look like the perfect place to eat: in a quiet alley off a main square. Unfortunately, the food was at best average, and several items listed on the "teaser" menu were not available. "Foie gras" was in fact not foie gras, but a weak pate. "Scallops with garlic sauce" was mainly gnocchi, with a few scallops. The house white... More

Went here by chance on Saturday night and was really disappointed. The food was ok but the service was terrible. We had to ask for them to bring our wine twice and the bill 4 times. The food was ok but nothing to rave about. Be warned that the toilet is disgusting and the kitchen didn't look too special either

The décor in is restaurant which is located in a little alley in the old town, is unique to say the least. It was like sitting in an opera! We had the 3 course set menu with wine costing around 50 Euro. The food was ok, not outstanding. I had the salad nicoise, followed by the gnocchi and then chocolate... More

This is a lovely restaurant with a great menu and very helpful friendly staff. We had the steaks which we're fantastic and all four of our party was very pleased. The menu is varied without being extensive and that is normally a good thing. If you are looking for an atmospheric place in the old town and some good traditional... More

Ate here for lunch one day and was very impressed. We had stumbled across it after a stroll in the old town and thought the menu looked nice and the restaurant was set in a quaint location with pretty interior decor. I had tried socca on the market and wasn't overally wowed previously, so decided to try it again here.... More
