After visiting chez Freddy twice last year and having a fantastic meal, we promised to return. This year we kept to our promise and had a fantastic meal again. We were offered water which we accepted but realised we had Evian everyone else had glass bottles. A second bottle of Evian came once we were empty but were not once... More

We got mussels, vegetarian aioli and a salad. The food was good and the sides large. The vegetarian aioli was the worse, only boiled vegetables and 2 eggs. The service instead was not good and we paid 2 bottles of cheap mineral water 12 euros!!!!!!

The restaurant is located at Cours Saleya, where there are dozens of places to eat. As this is a tourism area, they do not give that extra service that you would find in other areas. The ambient is nice with tables in the sidewalk and the food is ok. I had the mussels as appetizer and a bouillabaisse as the... More

A colleague and I stopped at this restaurant while we were in Nice. It was the second restaurant we visited that I wasn't impressed with. May be I set my standards too high however I was expecting much more from this mediocre cuisine. However, the dessert was great and wine was fantastic!

This place is in the middle of the Seleya, touristic location among simillar other restaurants. We chose the place randomly. The service was perfect. English speaking team, fast and helpful in choosing from the menu made our dinner great. Sea foods were very delicious and the portions were really big. We had paella, red mulle fish, bowls of moulle.with French... More

This looked a promising place to eat as we had been walking around for a while. The owner who 'hooks' you in was charming and we were shown to relatively good seats. However, it took a while for our order to be taken and this was taken by a very grumpy waiter who I assume was in charge as he... More

typical tourist trap really , average food , average service but in prime location near old town so they know that no matter how average the whole meal is someone else will be sitting in your seat the following day, week , month etc . ordered from the set menu of 26euro ( which we had to ask several times... In the middle of Cours Saleya, Chez Freddy offers probably the best sea food. Very fresh! Very nice service. English speaking! The sea food paella we had was just one of the best in Nice! More sea food than rice; very, very testy ! I really advice you to go and enjoy!
