Cosy venue

Chose this one out of the huge number of restaurants in the old town area on its appearance. The food was served in fair sized portions but did not always seem to go together ( peach with the salmon accompanied by a very fishy tasting sauce). After searching for a reasonably priced restaurant in the Old City of Nice, we came upon L'Ecurie which had an appealing look to it. The menu had a good deal of variety but we settled on the Prix Fixe menu which included an appetizer, main and dessert for 22 euro per person plus a 1/2 lite of house wine for... More

Had lunch at this place as we saw a nice pizza oven. The pizza was nice, maybe a bit burned, but delicious. Only complaint would be that the amount of cheese was a bit too much for me.

The bouillabaisse was absolutelyfantastic and so was the steak! We had a four course meal 3 nights in a row (!!!) at this wonderful restaurant with the best possible service!

We figured: if we get off the main drag of Nice (/boulevard Jean Jaurès) we'd pay 20% less and get away from the formula joints. Striking down a likely stairway, we immediately came to L'Eurie. Although the awning advertised pizza, the look of the place enticed me and the professional waiter at the entrance immediately sold me. Glad we did... More

We had a group that went during the week. The staff was reasonable, if not warm. Regarding the food and wine: the wine was reasonable for the price but in general was unremarkable. The food was very large from a portion perspective but uninspired. Multiple members of the group got the prix fixe meals. The deserts were the best part,... More

The restaurant is cozy, good for couples, especially if you want to have good french food. I had a bouillabasse and it was really good. I would go there again

We stumbled across this restaurant after finding a lot of other places in the old town nearly empty on a Monday night in March. This restaurant was pretty busy and I was seduced by the red check table cloths! It is quaint inside and there were locals in there as well as tourists. We had a lovely meal and returned... More

I visited this restaurant after hanging around the old city for a while. It is located outside the crowd of restaurants and it offers much more than the cheap touristic pack of flavours for a pretty reasonable price. I ordered a pizza that was delicious and very fresh. They also served the most soft and tasty olives that I tried... More

Our daughter is living in Nice and we have visited many times and always enjoyed lunch at L'Ecurie. Last time we went in the evening, which was good although I didn't feel that there was much ambiance. Saying that, the restaurant was full and the staff are always very friendly. We will go again.
