Well, I had to get the Stranglers reference out of the way..... Difficult to find, but worth the hunt. We actually thought the place was closed, but Shelly saw a light on. Well we have all been there, reading other reviews, planning our holiday and hoping to make some good decisions. We have just had the most wonderful weekend in Nice and going to this restaurant was part of this brilliant experience! The owners Marie and Jean-Michael really do make you feel welcome. We walked the 30 mins from the promenade following... More

Truly one of the best meals of my life. If there were more stars I could give this resteraunt, I would. The green neck duck was tender and succulent, the stuffing savory and the foie gras a nutty buttery delight that melts over your tongue upon contact and immediately discredits all past experiences with foie gras. As amazing as the... More

You've all seen the reviews, so lets get down to business. The wild duck is an absolute must. It was cooked perfectly and had a richness and depth unlike any other duck I've ever had. The stuffing was a perfect companion and was equally mouthwatering. I could have finished another entire order. I kid you not, the plate was wiped... More

If you love foie gras, then this is the place for you! Tiny, tiny restaurant, huge portions. A little hard to find. Service was good. Reservations are mandatory. The menu is very limited with duck 3 types, female, male & copulating (Hmm) cooked with foie gras, stuffed with foie gras, or foie gras on the side. If you aren't into... More

A small, intimate restaurant on the outskirts of Nice - off the beaten track but worth tracking down. A 20-30 minute walk from Place Massena. The husband does the cooking and the wife serves. The main focus is duck which is the best we've ever had. Prepared according to old family recipes from the Perigord region of France. If you... More

The welcome by the owners was lovely and the food was very tasty. I like places with a personal touch. I chose it for my birthday following other reviews I'd read on here and was pleased I did!
