Arrived at 8, eat at 9.45. Enjoyed what we had ( we both stuck with duck, as one would have read, huge portions, enjoyable rustic fare ) but we waited just far far too long. An entree or even some bread tick us over would have even done. The 2nd bottle wine we had to have wasn't really wanted but what... More

As previous reviews have made clear, this is not a large restaurant, serving moules, frites, pizza, pasta and the such-like. What you get here is a very cosy dining area, generally stacked with people who have discovered just how fantastic traditional French cooking is. We had the Duck (of course) and the Lamb, both of which were fantastic. The food... More

Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant - the duck was really delicious and some of the best I have ever eaten. Only complaint is that we all left a huge amount of food on our plates because the portions are so large and the food is so rich that you simply cant eat it all. It is just too... More

My fiance booked a table for my 37th birthday. It was the great food experience in Nice I ever had! The owners are amazing couple who welcomed everyone that evening with open arms and hearts. They made us feeling like being home and my mum and dad were cooking for us. Can't describe how tasty the food is! I had... More

Small it may be (although "intimate" may be a better word), but what it lacks in square footage, this charming restaurant more than makes up for by the quality of the food it serves and the warmth of the welcome afforded by the delightful husband and wife team who run this near legendary Nice eaterie: the delectable and irrepressible hostess,... We had a dinner meal in La Route du Miam some time ago and it was one of the best meals i've tried! The place is small and the tables very close to each other, but incredibly it improve the cosy atmosphere. They just made us fell at home, a home with a Michelin star chef. Ps: they don't accept... This micro-restaurant has a very limited menu they serve especially duck and they know how to do it. Portions are good size so you can dine without ordering any appetizer but prices are too expensive especially the wine. The quality of the food is very good and the waiter is very very very attentive in explaining all the qualities of... More

The other night four of us ventured into a part of Nice where we'd never been - even though two of our group were Nice residents. We were not far from the tourist spots of Place Massena, crossing into another world - a residential neighborhood. As soon as I opened the door to La Route du Miam I became a... More
