Simply put, the nicest place we have ever been to! The food was excellent and we have never felt this welcome in any place. This place is absolutely worth of visiting and we will certainly come back here on our next trip to Nice. - just married - ;)

We decided to eat here after reading tripadvisor comments. I wasn`t fully sure about what to expect as normally I am not the biggest fan of duck dishes but it was just great. The owners are really friendly, the husband is cooking in the kitchen and you can easily see what he is doing from your table. The wife is... More

Went here with 2 friends on holiday and it was amazing! The duck, wine, and foie gras were all unbelievably delicious! Best meal I've had in France hands down. The owners were also so sweet and funny and we stayed there from opening to close. Wish I lived closer so I could go here more often!

Make a reservation! me and my bf lucked out when we walked in and someones reservation was a no show. the food is hands down the real deal and the best we had in France. We both had the duck with stuffing and poatoes and froi gras, SPECTACULAR! But nothing could beat the owners. I was sick towards the end... More

I know its a bold statement to say a meal is life altering but from the moment you arrive you are in for a treat. We celebrated our 15th anniversary here. NOTE: They only take cash. First this place is tiny so I recommend making a reservation. When we arrived its a sliding door to get in and you are... More

We read on trip advisor that this place was great. Well upon arriving in nice we booked I to this cute little restaurant t and was totally blown away. Firstly you should note that it is hidden away in a back street but don't let that deter you. It only seats no more than 14 people and offers food from... More

What an amazing night! We had a fantastic dinner at le Route du Miam due to both the amazing food and the wonderful ambience. Marie is a suberb host who instantly makes you feel welcome and at home, and Jean-Michel an amazing chef bringing you his (great?)-grandmother's recipe for duck stuffing and a guilt-free experience of eating fois gras that... This might just be the most interesting meal you might ever have! Marie and Jean-Michel will take you on a gastronomic tour de force of south-west France! Small, cosy and eclectic, the hosts will make you feel right at home, as if eating in their own home! Food is beyond compare. Duck fat is good for you!!! Book early, is... More

A wonderful husband and wife collaboration makes for the type of restaurant that you rarely come across. From the moment you arrive Marie makes you feel as though she was entertaining you at her home. Meanwhile the smell of Jean Michelle's cooking gets your mouth watering. The menu is proudly South West French, with duck and natural foie gras being... More
