Amazing experience

It is the best dinning experience of my trip. The Duck, Foie Gras and potatoes were cooked to perfection and could taste all the flavors. We were recommended wines to go with it and tasted others after the meal in the company of restaurant owners Marie and Jean Michel. It felt like I was invited to... read more

Amazing service and amazing food! Marie and her husband were so welcoming; we felt that we were being welcomed into a friend's home. The wine recommendation was outstanding, and the food was just as amazing. Our only complaint was that we will never be able to eat duck again because it will never be as good as it was here!... I have to say this was the best duck we have ever eaten. Moist, juicy, flavourful. The foie gras was heavenly. The flavours on the entire plate were amazing. The owners, Marie and Jean Michel were so sweet. The restaurant was not big - holding about 12 people when we went on Wednesday (so please reserve in advance!). Marie made... More

Of all the restaurants in Nice, I chose la Route du Miam as the place to send my 30th birthday and I couldn't have been more happy with my choice! Marie, the hostess was extremely warm and hospitable. She and her husband, the chef were very knowledgeable about food and the proof was in the pudding (or in this case... More

Family atmosphere and the best food in Nice if you like duck. The choice of dishes is limited but keep in mind that this is a small family restaurant and all the food is prepared just for you after you order it. Great family and extremely friendly. You will leave the restaurant feeling like its your home. Highly recommend!!!

Best meal we had in France, or ever (so far). Completely unassuming location, you will never find it even if you walk past it, unless you're looking for it specifically. But if you want THE French culinary experience and to feel like a guest of the most welcoming French family ever, then you must get there if it kills you.... More

The food was amazing, the owner and her husband, who is the chef, were incredibly warm and welcoming. I had the duck with fois-gras and it was simply amazing. The restaurant can only fit 8-10 people inside, but she was sweet enough to give me a table outside. I can't say it enough.. go, go, go!

Marie and her husband are extremely kind and the food is absolutely amazing. Reasonable prices for an authentic cuisine of the Sud Est of France.

Every time I'm in Nice this is where I eat, it is the best food I've found and an amazing atmosphere. A bit hard to find but worth the trouble.

Visited recently with my husband for an anniversary treat. We wanted something a little unusual and as my husband is a massive fois gras fan we booked this. We managed to get ourselves there on public transport which was pretty easy on the tram. Anyway, the food is wonderful if that is what you like. I opted for lamb shank... More
