Excellent service, nice setting, and good typical food!

I asked the waiter what he would recommend, and he suggested the steak with anchovies and spices on top. The waiter said it was a recipe that the grandmother of the original owner used many years ago. Excellent traditional restaurant with specialties from the region and good wine. Nice atmosphere with very friendly staff. You will eat very well over there.

This restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere. Everyone was greeted with a friendly welcome. The authentic French food was delicious. The portions were of a good size. Quite a few members of staff spoke English. You do need to book before hand as it is very popular. Other customers commented that they had becoming back for years and the quality of... More

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place last Feb when visiting friends, they squeezed us in and we had an awesome meal. We were back in Nice last week with friends and found it, they remembered us from over a year ago and squeezed us in again the next day. It was fully booked again with a queue so... More

Excellent service - genuinely a proper 'family' affair. Our starters, though, were an overpriced and frankly bland disappointment. The main courses far better (though, from memory, almost two-thirds of the menu appeared to be variants on 'veal'). Fellow diners will largely be tourists, though we were sat next to a couple of rather ill-mannered shellsuit-wearing locals. I'd recommend for sure... More

The food was mediocre at BEST. it was packed and mama's sons were accommodating and very nice, but I think that they are not trying at all because of the help from the reviews on trip advisor. If you eat just to live, ---not live to eat, Please eat elsewhere . Not impressed

Some good menu items eg duck and fish soup (but very salty). The fried chickpea was not good. Quite a popular place. Worth a visit

A friend recommended this as one of his favorite places. As he is shall we say a little tight with money, I understand why he likes it. First of all the service was excellent. We ate upstairs which was very noisy. The portions are huge but the price isn't. I had the Veal Milanese stuffed with ham & cheese Provencal.... More

Turned up at this restaurant at 7.30 without a reservation and found that the restaurant was already fully booked. Were told to come back at 9.15pm. Thought it was worth waiting for so returned at said time. The service and presentation of food was very good but out of all our meals (there were 4 of us) nothing was outstanding.... More

Acchiardo is one of the best restaurants in Vieux Nice. It is beautifully decorated, very friendly and family run. Service is pleasant and very professional. The liver was excellent. The wines are a good quality and reasonably priced. The portions tend to be rather large.
