Drawn in by the number of locals entering, we were not disappointed. Really good solid Nicoise cooking, a warm welcome and good ambience all added up to make an excellent lunch. We both had the plat du jour of osso bucco with fettuccine which was both delicious and generous. To follow a tart tatin and a tiramisu, both excellent. Add... More

This is my favourite restaurant in Nice,I have been coming here for many years. It is an old family run restaurant, recently totally refurbished and now being run by the sons.Having said that their parents are often at the restaurant keeping an eye on them!!! The restaurant is very spacious but every night it is full to capacity. BOOK!! It is... More

Simply put exactly what I had hoped for in looking for a restaurant in 'old Nice' Roasted Peppers, Petit Farci perfect. Duck Brest with Fig, Ravioli with Daube. As good as it gets. A Bellet for €45 was the most expensive wine on the page and excellent. Young staff keep everything buzzing. If you go to the Flee Market on... More

Food is typical Nicoise. Great value for money, with mains around €15. We tried their swordfish with preserved lemon sauce, duck (very good, especially with the fig sauce), and steak. The mains are served with a side of your choice. The green beans were very garlicky and delicious, and the side salad came in a pretty generous. Their appetizers were... More

I have to say this was a rare find and one of the best meals I've ever had. I had a delicious piece of beef with an olive oil, garlic, parsley and anchovie topping. Simple but delicious. I also had sort of fries made from chickpeas, a local specialty apparently, also delicious. Also great value for money at around 15... More

We've been coming to Nice for years and Chez Acchiardo is always top on our list of "must do" when we come. The ambience is homey, the service is warm and friendly, and the food is exceptional and well priced. Reserve your table in advance, there is always a high demand.

We enjoyed our meal, the neighbours and the ambiance. The wait staff were someplace else, hipster vibe, but we're prompt and courteous I had the soupe de pistou, a basil-vegetable soup that was filling, delicious, and traditional cuisine. the swordfish was large in size, but I curiously chose a sweet lemon sauce I would not want again The prices were... On the Rue Droit in old Nice pedestrian area, you will find this elegant family run restaurant. It is anyones idea of the ideal French restaurant. The rooms are immaculately clean, with traditional touches, white tablecloths and red/white checked napkins. The food is delicious. Good steaks, pink grilled lamb chops, grilled fish. The food is not complicated, just honest clean... More

A big surprise. Because after been there two years ago, when the place was ok but not more, Acchiardo has been refurbished and for me it seems like the food and the service also had gone through a complete refurbishing. We had a "plate du jour", the housewine (a pichet) a marvelous "créme caramel". All home made. Inclusive "café" the... More
