You will love to wait some minutes in the queue to taste the wonderful Socca (as farinata or cecina in Italy). Here they cook it every 2 minutes and it is always at its best
Chez Rene is the place to get socca, hot off the griddle. I'd never tried it before, but found it tasty and filling. Chez Rene is a full-service restaurant and bar, but hordes of people line up in the street for its takeaway servings of socca.

This is a great place to sample socca, pissaladiere, farcies and other nicois specialties fresh out of the pan, eaten at outdoor wooden tables after ordering at the kitchen. Although the surroundings are somewhat humble, it will likely prove a delicious and memorable experience.
