During the day a lot of office workers dine / lunch here so we thought this must be a pleasant alternative to the Cours Saleya tourist traps. It is not too far from the latter, across the newly developed Park Paillon. Very close to HSBC. We had lunch outside, which was a blessing on a 32C day. The sun helpfully... More

Simply the best place we ate in Nice. A Great Italian restaurant and great service. The specials are very expensive - so must be very special. We ate from the regular a la carte. Cannot recommed this highly enough. We booked in the morning on both occasions. Wine cheapest was €22 per bottle but Italian and nice quality. Go here!

We strayed away from the tourist areas in search of great food and followed the ratings. Though the restaurant was solid, it wasn't as good as we expected given the scores. The outdoor dining is nice, though the street isn't as scenic as many in Nice. The frying pan plates are cool, but they get in the way if the... More

This is a great Italian restaurant that is a little outside of the touristy area. Great food and reasonable prices. Portions are quite large, so sharing can be a good idea. We enjoyed the ravioli and four cheese gnocchi, but many other dishes we saw come out looked just as delicious.

We had a pleasant if not outstanding dinner here. In a city where there are so many apparently good restaurants to choose from we settled on this not least because it is outside the Vieux Nice and therefore not surrounded by the acres of restaurants geared to be passing tourists and, one suspects, of dubious quality. Our first course, a... More

Came here with me wife and 2 children based on a guidebook recommendation. Good pasta, good seafood, good wine. Friendly and efficient service. What's not to like ?

Just a block or so from Place Messina down a side street, Luna Rossa is a lovely Italian with very friendly service. The pasta dishes are delicious, and are served in iron frying pans. Amazing seafood and vegetarian linguini!

We celebrated a 60th birthday party at this restaurant in June 2014. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Including a tip, dessert and a bottle of wine the entire cost was 165 euros which is quite reasonable for Nice. You will not be disappointed with your meal.
