We found Luc Salsedo to be a warm, welcoming and intimate restaurant. Small enough to feel the personal touch that goes into the food and running of the restaurant, but still spacious enough for us to enjoy our evening in private. As we were seated the chef passed by our table to greet us which was a nice gesture. The... More

A simple, fairly small interior, with an equally small menu but the quality and care shown in preparing and presenting the food was exceptional. We had the house terrine starter, wild sea bass main and cinnamon apple pain perdue for desert - all simple but simply delicious. Not cheap but quality food in a relaxed atmosphere - modern French cooking... More

With a large group of 33, we occupied the entire restaurant, only the small terrace was open for regular clients. The set menu started with the Farcis Nicois (small vegetables stuffed with meat, a local specialty) was overcooked and not very tasty...but the wait for our group arriving 30/45 minutes late could be responsible for the overtime in the oven...... the food was local, simply and deliciously prepared, graciously served. Language no problem. Very limited menu. Squash soup, grilled fish and veal are highly recommended. Interesting local wines. Quiet. I would return for sure.

LS was suggested by our hotel and we had already decided to visit it before we got to NIce. We managed to get a table outside which was a real treat. It is a small restaurant but very very nicely decorated. There was no rush from the staff who spoke English (and any problems out come Christine). It is in... More

Thanks more than a thousand times for this excellent dinner we had yesterday evening. The menu is perfect. The pimpkin soup is the best I ever ate, that was perfection. The veal was so tender and so tasty and the vegetables so fresh and good; normally I hate celery but the way it was cooked was excellent. When a chef... More

This restaurant was not on the lists given us initially by concierge staff. Eventually it was mentioned after finding others fully booked - and we got the last table at LS. Small place, some English, three superb courses- chef's terrine of chicken and prune, perfectly executed Gigot of lamb with gorgeous vegetables, and a pain perdu with salted caramel ice... More

After reading many 5-star reviews, we expected better. Limited menu and a disappointing main course (vegetables overcooked and dish too salty) so overall we felt it was overpriced. Interesting twist on the traditional melon & parma ham starter, and a superb coconut pistachio mousse was served to us before our dessert. Attractive decor but lacked atmosphere. Good service but overall... More

This restaurant should be in the top three places to eat in Nice. We had been recommended this restaurant on our last visit to Nice and simply had to return once again. The quality of food, ingredients, service and atmosphere were way above any other restaurants we went to during our holiday. We arrived, without a reservation, but were quickly... More

We have come here each year for 7 years and it truly is the best place to eat in Nice. Wonderful, fresh ingredients, great service and, unlike most places in Nice, you feel it's worth the price. They even cope well with special dietary requirements (which we notified in advance). Despite being a proper, grown up restaurant, the atmosphere is... More
