We visited this restaurant a year ago and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. A year on we paid another visit and were not disappointed. The restaurant is off the tourist track and the clientèle appeared to know the restaurant and were making repeat visits. In fact, the couple next to our table were on their 7th visit in... More

5 minutes North from Promenade des Anglais take advantage of a real restaurant. The bistrot advantage of the neighboured high - end restaurant. You get a full menu for the price of bad foods.

This is an excellent restaurant with great french food for a reasonable price. Very much worth a visit. The street can be a bit noisy if you sit outside. The menu changes every day and were satisfied every time.

Looked good from the outside but more like fine dining than a bistrot in our opinion. Service and ambience was great but sigh, not the food. Chef owner was in the dining room and we tried to be friendly but he was arrogant. We had artichoke salad and it might have had a little truffle oil. Wish it said so... More

We knew it would be good, but the level of dining and friendliness surprised us. Dining Aioli, and a plate of sardines etc. with rose wine was a treat. We wanted to have their bouillabaisse as well. Visited during lunch time and the big portion of all possible was a treat. The chef was very friendly and I asked him... More

Wonderful bistrot. Very accommodating with superb ford and service. Blackboard menu with many choices. Duck and pork pate is to die for and very large portion. Wine list is excellent.

3 of us walked in on a saturday night. The restaurant was busy but we got a place to sit quickly. The bistro had a rich and authentic look to it. An english menu helped and the kind waitress spoke some english too. I ordered the meilleur (perhaps wrong spelling) and it was perfectly made. Cooked to perfection and served... More

Great place. They do have menu in English as well. Grilled fish John Dory was excellent (served for two). Starter salad with artichoke worth trying. Desserts ... be careful, they are plentiful. At least after lighter fish you might want to settle for something else than chocolate cake or creme brulee. Small bistro, might require table reservation, we were lucky... More

I selected this place because by mistake I thought I saw they offered kids menu in the internet (it was in fact Le Rolancy's - a fancy looking restaurant just besides)... What a mistake!!! My 4 year old daughter ended up hungry and crying out loud, not having any single dish suitable for kids... although our kid is quite picky... More

We visited Les Viviers Bistro on a Saturday evening. Before nine o´clock, practically all tables were occupied, so reservation is essential. The tables are pretty close to each other - meaning that there is not much privacy available. The menu in French was presented on a roughly 50 cm x 80 cm black board placed on the table. No English... More
