We were looking forward to a lunch with friends who make a hobby of eating at 'starred' restaurants and had eaten here on several occasions before. The setting is beautiful, the staff are very professional but somewhat aloof - so far just what you come to expect from a 2 star establishment. When it came to ordering,we were not advised... More

Exceeded our expectations. Unique menus from Argentinian chef Mauro Colagreco. Excellent service by an attentive staff. In addition to the five-course (or more) lunch menu, which we recommend over a-la-carte--more interesting--we opted for the optional 1/2-lobster each; delicious. When you are offered champagne and caviar before the meal, go for it, too. To arrive at Mirazur, take the train to... More

First they asked if we had some allergies or food we didn't like. One answered mushroom and oysters/clams. When the appetizers arrived we were amazed; clams and mushrooms. No communication? This is unacceptable in a restaurant in this niveau. The two next courses were beautifully presented and tasted deliciously. The four next courses were brown and grey in colors and... More

Wonderful location on the French-Italian border overlooking the old harbour of Menton. Dined here twice, both in the evening and both tremendously good - the food wonderful and service flawless. Bravo!

This is undoubtedly the best meal I have ever had. Few weeks before my visit I came upon a ranking by San Pellegrino / Acqua Panna, which placed Mirazur as world's 11th best restaurants. I booked immediately and waited for my time. It is in Menton, a quiet holiday destination a few miles from the Italian border. You have to... More

Negatives 1) No disabled toilet on the restaurant floor - the restaurant is on the first floor, up a sweeping staircase. In order to use the toilet one has to go outside and walk around the building to the entrance. I have a broken ankle and was on crutches, so the thought of walking round the building seemed a mammoth... More

We chose the 'menu découverte' what bliss, we were served with each dish explained, the appropriate wine was with them, though if you hadn't finished your glass you were not pushed! I had a fish dish as the main course, it was delicious, a fish I'd not tasted before! At the end we were given the menue as a souvenir,... More

Now a two Michelin starred restaurant, this jewel of Menton delivered all round pleasure. There is no 'menu' as such. You select the number of dishes you want from the options given and then asked what you don't eat. The dishes are then designed around the great produce from the restaurant's garden, what has been landed at the market and... More

My husband and I enjoyed beautiful & delicious dishes overlooking the fantastic view. As a Japanese, it was a pleasure to see influences from Japanese cuisine such as yuzu or dashi on some of the dishes.

We ate here in September. Great location, overlooking the ocean. Drive from Nice was really great - all along the ocean, The dinner was great - very good attention to detail, lots of complex, but overpowering, flavors. Each dish was meticulously prepared. We ate at Le Chantecler the night before (another 2 Michelin starred restaurant in Nice), and Le Mirazur... More
