Intimate and local style

It's a little, cozy and intimate place, fish is of course top of the list but deserts are also there, so do make sure you have some room left after going through whatever delicious plate you choose. There are many restaurants in Menton, but for real fresh fish this restaurant is the best. It was my birthday and wanted to celebrate. Could not imagine that it would be full off season, so I called in the late afternoon. A lady answered on a dry tone "Sorry we are full". This cannot be, what can you offer for... More

We have been coming to eat with Gabby and Lisa and Mimi for many years...even well before they had the Petit Port. It remains a lovely place to have a very special meal, certainly one of the best restaurants in Menton

My husband took me to Le Petit Port to celebrate my birthday. We were curious as we read that the Mirazur chef likes eating there which suggested a high recommendation. The actual experience was profoundly unpleasant. This was not because the food was awful but the way we were treated as customers. I always believed that the star of the... More

I paid 110 euros for dinner for two: Fish (30 ueros) , steak (28), a bottle of wine, two digestivs and a bottle of water. After spending a week eating in quality Paris restaurants like Remy and Vintage, I wasn't expecting the same standard but for the price quoted, I was expecting something of merit to justify the price -... My wife and I went here for dinner because we had read it was a good place to go for fresh fish. It was. We ordered Sea Bass for two. An excellent choice, not cheap, but fresh fish, as opposed to frozen, isn't. The service was cheerful and attentive throughout the meal. The there was a good range of wines... More

On the recommendation of our hotel, we booked our last dinner in Menton. They promised us an excellent meal in a traditional family run restaurant and didn't disappoint, AMBIANCE Charming decor with roomy tables. Feels like you are having dinner in the family home of the owners. Perhaps a little to much lighting. FOOD Each course was unique, delicious and... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and they made the reservation for us. It doesn't look of much when you enter, but the food is absolutely divine. There were local people with their children as well as tourists, and you know, that when there is local people dining there, then it has to be good, and that it... More

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago. This is the best place in town for regional specialities - their tarte au citron is second to none. It's quite small so it's a good idea to book in advance if you want to go in peak season.

After being recommended to this restaurant I can't help but come away disappointed after eating here. Initially greeted with a warm but superficial welcome we were seated at a good table. When we came to order and management saw only a light bite was wanted interest and service waited For the price point, food selection and location, give this one... More
