An experience !

Had read about this restaurant on TA and actively sought it out to try the 7 course tasting menu to mark a special occasion. The restaurant itself is situated on a beautiful old narrow street in the old town. We sat outside as it was cooler and as others have commented, had to make sure we kept... read more

Not too far off the front with some tables outside. This is certainly a change from the usual Menton fare. Go for the included wine option for the best deal. Plenty of vegetables, in fact plenty of different tastes altogether.

This was an extremely memorable dinner for many reasons. The restaurant itself is quite discreet and inconspicuous, but once you are in there, as someone else puts it, "the adventure" starts. The chef, Christian is amazing. He brings in each dish himself and you can discuss the food with him. He is friendly, very happy to share information and very... More

In the middle of the old Menton, in some tiny street, hard to find, out of the regular tourists paths ... This restaurant is as authentic as it gets in this part of France! Graet food, local service! Choose the Menu Gourmand with wine for €44,-! A treat!

It was a lovely day but we wanted to avoid the main touristy square so walked up into the old mediaeval town. Stumbled on this little restaurant that was empty at the time. They serve kebabs (brochettes) that are hanging from a stand (very original). Accompanied by a plate of home made lentil cake, corn pancake, vegetables, dips, etc.. We... More

Much more than a meal, dinner at A Braijade was an adventure! Go for it and try the signature menu with an incredible selection of courses. All very fresh and authentic. Favorites were the escargot, oysters and of course the flamed finale of beef and shrimp. Save room for dessert too. Recommend the wine pairing as well, why not! Such... More

Delightful dinner on a Tuesday evening in October. Intimate atmosphere (for my wife’s birthday) despite only a handful of diners. Food was all fresh and unusually for a French restaurant plenty of vegetables and salad items on the dishes. Not easy to find and no parking nearby but well worth the effort.

We booked this restauant in advance and were so glad that we did. It lived up to our expectations and actually succeeded them. The food and service was second to none. Everything was flavoursome and tasty and the service was warm and friendly. We started of with an aperitif. Which was some orange drink with sugar coated around the edge... More

They specialize in Brochettes Vertical Flames, we sat at small table for two outside (keep your feet in as the odd car comes down the Rue Longue !!) The restaurant is situated in the old town away from the tourists, which is a huge bonus. In our five day stay we came here twice in the evenings. Highly recommended.
