Lovely evening

We took 4 kids with us (one a baby) and 5 adults and as it has Michelin stars I was a bit dubious how they would be with that many kids but they were excellent! We went for a Tuesday dinner time and our kids know how to behave in a restaurant but the staff were so helpful! Kids had... read more

A beautiful restaurant set around a courtyard. I have been for dinner and lunch and would say I preferred the lunch. The atmosphere is serene and the food is stunning. The 7 course menu offers something for every tastebud. If you want a gastronomic experience, it is worth the trip.

Very heavy food, quite overpriced. Not terrible, but nothing to write home about. And, if you're staying in Cannes, $100 in Taxi fares. I would skip it.

Dear Madame, Dear Sir, We deeply regret to read your disappointement with our property, though we are not reponsible for the pricy taxi fare on the French Riviera. Please know that we are just five minutes away from the train station of Mandelieu La Napoule. Price wise, we have very affordable menus at lunch time and also, a Bistrot, where... More

The Bistro, normally upstairs in the winter (nice and cosy) has been moved into the garden on the opposite side of the road. whilst the food is still of a high quality - the smell from the extractor fans of the main restaurant opposite is very evident and the plastic 'camp site' furniture is not what we expected. The furniture... More

Dear Ronald, We are very sorry you did not appreciate the outdoor setting of the bistrot, despite your acceptance of our cuisine. Rest assured these comments have been forwarded to our Chefs, so we may take necessary action. Please know, that it is possible to dine indoors at the Bistrot, throughout the year ! Our friends that live in Cannes took us to dinner at La Oasis and the evening could not have been nicer. Since it was crazy in the city it was a real treat to walk into the lovely cool garden setting behind the walls of this restaurant. The portions are generous so order with care. I confess I don't know the name of l'Oasis chef, but I should... The six (or seven) courses menu is amazingly good. And if you are a fan, don't miss the perfectly prepared dry martini - one or maybe two, because it's served in a small glass that guarantees you a cold drink

The evening started off very pleasant. We were then told we shouldn't order the wine we wanted, we then had the delight of finding a small piece of metal in the dish, when we mentioned this we were told its not a big deal and had already happened twice that week. ridiculous!

Dinner at L'Oasis has a magical feeling, the garden setting is special. Our meal was delicious, everything you could hope for or expect. Don't forget the bakery next door, we would pick up things and bring them home to our flat each day.

I am no expert but felt that my experience at L'Oasis make them deserving of the Michelin stars. I had the salmon sashimi for starters, lemon sole for main and the chocolate tart from the desert trolley. All dishes were superb! The service was faultless making the whole experience something we would like to come back to.

The menu is of highest creativity and taste combination (especially the bouillabaisse). the filet of duck with the sweet sauce and the sour mandarine puree combine with the braised chicory was at perfection. Surely one the best restaurant on the entire Cote d' Azur
