Bouillabaisse really good.

We went here on recommendation from our hotel, it is a large typically french restaurant with a stunning view, be warned the menu is huge. We went for the bouillabaisse each, which was divine, I am not a great seafood lover, but this was exceptional. On reflection, we should have had one between... read more

We first found la Brocherie three years ago and made a reservation to eat there again on the first Sunday we were in the Mandelieu area this winter. The €40 menu is excellent. Oysters, shrimp, other fish - hot and cold - as starters. Then the main course of one's choice, either meat (filet of beef with Béarnaise sauce, lamb... More

Chose the set multi course menu. Everything was fantastic from beginning to end. As per their long established reputation the seafood was exceptional. Lovely staff, great service. This restaurant has been tastefully revamped since my last visit. The wood is still there but stripped and the whole restaurant has a more modern feel inside. We sat inside but the large... More

Loup Turbot, Dorade and Sole all done perfectly. The Loup in a crust of sea salt at 1kg+ for two is excellent with just a drizzle of olive oil. The sole done in butter sauce at 400/600g is one of the best in the South of France. Try the scallops ala Provençale as the starter. 5 beautifully prepared scallops in... More

This is my third visit to La Brocherie, and the first time during the summer tourist season when I can really see how the staff handles a crowd. The answer is: Poorly. Both my guest and I ordered the Menu, which I must say, at 40eu, is a LOT of food, and of very good quality. The starters, including the... More

My friends live here & they had not even been to this restaurant, so none of us knew what to expect. First of all, look at that view, spectacular! Upon sitting down, two young men brought over a basket full of fresh fish for us to look at. We all decided on the dinner for 40 euros, I felt bad... More

La Brocherie was an easy short walk from our hotel. It specializes in fresh fish, and that's easy to recognize as you pick out the very fish you desire from a basket on sitting. The salt-baked sea bass was excellent (but you need to have two or more to order.) I also ate the sole (for one) at another dinner... More

We have been to La Brocherie over one year ago in the height of summer and it was very busy and despite this service was excellent. A la carte is expensive here especially if you go for the fresh fish by weight. The €38 menu however is quite a surprise. It reads like there are 5 starters to choose from... More

Excellent fish and seafood, nice decor and friendly service. the restaurant has become much better under new management during the last years. You pay a lot but the quality has been very good!

My wife and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary here a fortnight ago and had an absolutely superb meal. The service was spot on (unlike most French restaurants). We shared a bottle of champagne which was amazing value and a platter of a dozen oysters which were of a good size and very tasty indeed. This was followed up by... More
