Passed this place purely by chance last night and stopped for dinner. We had one of the fixed menu @ 26.50 euros and was pleasantly surprised. We had multi coloured tomatoe starter in a oil and balsalmic vinegar, followed pork mignon and then poached apricots and icre cream. All beautifully prepared and presented! We will definitely return as just away... More

Maybe mid week winter nights the food is different from the other times! We had a pleasant meal that was well cooked but nothing was special. It is trying to be fine dining but not quite making it. We had a discount voucher so it is possible that they down graded the menu. But the 33Euro menu had just one... More

This is a small, family-run restaurant, with a staff of as few as two -- the chef and the server. This can cause service problems (long delays in order-taking and food delivery) that more than offset the usually excellent quality of the food. If the service were consistently good, the place would deserve a higher rating, but given its unpredictability... More

This is really a small place with about thirty places owned by a family with passion for good French food. The atmosphere is calmed nice and inviting. You really get a nice feeling when you enter the place. The family and staff don’t speak much English but do there outmost to please. And of course as it by the seaside... More

We despaired of finding good food in mediocre St Juan Les Pins outside of the overpriced hotels but on our way to a Trip Advisor rated restaurant we passed L'Amiral and decided to give it a try. It was quite late so we skipped an entree and had two different fish mains. Fresh fish excellently cooked. Service was very good... More

we recently spent a few days in the gastronomic wilderness that is the Cote d'Azur. Lacking sufficient funds and for the Moulin @ Mougins, the Colombe d'Or etc we faithfully followed Trip Advisor round the area. It is true that France is currently sliding into the food doldrums that beset the UK from WW2 til the late 80s. We had... More

This was our best food experience under our France trip. The food was superb, service was very good (for non speaking french as us we had no problem in understanding the menu, etc ) and the price was really affordable (compare to Sweden it was a bargain).

We found this small family run restaurant as we strolled by one day from our hotel. We booked for dinner and had an exquisite dining experience. We were welcomed by Mme Anne who manages tables; serving; everything else whilst husband Phillipe is chef. The attention to detail to ensure food quality and cooking is to the highest standard is very... More

This small, quiet restaurant which is run by Madame Anne and husband Phillipe has seating for 28 people. They have excellent food. I ate there several times during my recent stay. On each visit, most of the customers were French, not foreign tourists. However I was always welcomed there. I plan to visit this restaurant again several times when I... More

It's good to see a young couple continue the tradition of small family-run Provencale restaurants. Food is the best in Juan-les-Pins for the price. Service is generally excellent and the ambiance will get there given time.
