Within sight of the sea and main beaches, Le Capitole is not your usual tourist haunt. No surly service or rip off prices here. It's always full of locals so what else do you need to know? Recommend the Moules. Large bowl of small but perfectly cooked and tasty mussels. Sea Bass and steaks are good too. Highly recommended.

After arriving in Juan les Pins, we walked around, keeping an eye out for a restaurant for dinner later. We were despairing when we happened upon Le Capitole. Everywhere else looked overpriced and dull. After reading about it on Trip Advisor, we showed up at 7 instead of our customary 8 pm and if we had been much later, we... More

Traditional French dishes carefully prepared. I ordered Cous Cous, and received a large serving of perfectly cooked grains and a generous bowl of lamb, chicken, and pork sausage pieces. I had a small carafe of the house white, a regional that tasted like a Pinot Grigio, acceptable, but not outstanding. In my experience, too many restaurants in France in the... More

Great value, clean and friendly restaurant. The starter's were gorgeous - the Mediterrean tart amazing. Mains a little disappointing after that starter. Lovely wine and staff.

The decor here is French, the food is French and the waiter is very French. Prices start with the 16 euro three course menu, including a glass of wine, which is great value for money and absolutely fine. It is basic food but well cooked and presented . The herring starter is particularly enjoyable. We stumbled upon this place by... More

This was our final meal in Juan les Pins and we were guided by previous Tripadvisor reviews. We had initially tried to eat here on a Tuesday but found it was closed so came back later in the week. We arrived quite early, just after 7pm and it was already starting to get busy. The inside is pleasant; pale pink... More

If you are looking for the typical French restaurant in Juan-les-Pins, with reasonable prices, that's the place. Food is very good, especially moules marinieres and the herring. it opens every day at 7 pm, and just after it gets almost full. Between 7 and 8 pm there is a very affordable 3-dish menu for 16 Euro with glass of wine... More

This is a cosy restaurant with many locals dining, absolutely a place to go if you are nearby. It is close to the sea,... More

We hadn't looked up anywhere to go for lunch on our day trip to the sea-side but figured this place looked about right and we weren't disappointed. The mussels were excellent and her carpachio of tuna and salmon was also very good. It also was very nice to sit outside and watch the world go by with a glass of... More

Visted this restaurant twice this week and ate from the 22 Euros menu, the food was delicious. The nougat ice cream is a real treat. This was the only reasonably priced restaurant we could find in Juan le Pin. I can thoroughly recommend it
