Very good food, especially the children's menu

We ate in this restaurant twice. Excellent (though a little pricy) fish and seafood, and a particularly good children's menu of fish/rice and chocolate fondant/ice cream. We ate in this restaurant twice. Excellent (though a little pricy) fish and seafood, and a particularly good children's menu of fish/rice and chocolate fondant/ice cream. Our only slight complaint during the first visit is that we were not only served the vegetarian starter instead of the main course (confirmed on the second visit!) but charged twice for the latter... Nice spot with great views. Food was BAD. The fish was terrible and so was the vegetarian plate. Didn't care much for the service either.

Le Poisson Rouge is worth the trip. The outdoor seating, the interesting menu including desserts, the exceptionally friendly staff - I'd be happy to eat here everyday. I'd recommend their standard menu and their 5 piece dessert as their tapas offerings can sneakily add up to a small fortune. The day we were there the average age was pushing 65... More

Le Poisson rouge is amazingly located at the Port du Niel on the presqu'ile de Giens. On top of this the service was friendly and the food delicious. We took the Menu de Fete for 40euros and our stomachs were full! The charcuterie as a starter was good. The lamb dish as a main was delicious. You can get a... More

Giens is one of our "secrets" in Provence, so we hesitate to hype things too much. But if you're in the village, Le Poisson Rouge is worth finding. Nestled in a picturesque little cove, the restaurant offers in and outdoor seating and both a lunch and dinner service. As you might expect, the menu leans heavily on fish options including... More

this seaside restaurant was a lovely discovery, overlooking rocky cove and pebble beach, hidden from hustle and bustle of busy coastline... seafood emphasis has eastern fusion touches, dishes are beautifully served .. my 'captain yamamoto' starter had soy-and-sesame marinated tuna, the decorative 'plum tree' was made from chives and drops of cumin-flavoured beet puree (!) , there feels much attention... Good service, good food, the staff speaks English. But there is no English menu and the restaurant is closed from 14:00 to 19:00

This lovely restaurant is situated "at the end of the World" (or at the end of France ;-). Great food : a mixture of French cuisine, but they experiment also with Sushi style fish. This restaurant is runed by a family. Stunning envirement, great food (mixture of classics and new experiments), lovely staff.

The staff greeted us warmly upon arrival. They came around to show us the main courses being served to other customers and also took the time to make suggestions. The seafood was very fresh. We were given a table with a nice view of the port; a romantic setting. The decor inside is light and modern. We both ordered the... More

Went with our family which included a French contingent and children and found the service was excellent, helpful and friendly at all times. This was true of all staff. The cuisine was excellent and innovative. Clearly you've got to like fish and its probably a good idea if you take kids for them to like it too.
