Wonderful diner - Excellent cuisine

Very good chef, every dish was a real surprise. Seasonal products cooked just before being served. Short but very good wine selection.

Very homely. They have their daughter and their pug roam around the restaurant as if it were their own lounge. Loved the food. Was lucky to find it. Only to realise it was recommended in my lonely planet guide. Found it by luck and it was well worth it. Tasty, simple, homely, comfort food. Highly recommend it.

Lovely restaurant, what more can I say. We were greeted enthusiastically by (I believe) the owner's wife who spoke excellent English and took the time to go through the whole menu with us. Only three choices for each course but that was not a problem. The restaurant itself was imaginatively and pleasantly decorated with a quirky charm. The food was... More

Tucked down a narrow side alley off the main square in Grasse this restaurant is definitely worth seeking out. We just had lunch there & were 1 of only 2 tables but I think that is probably unusual. The menu was limited to a choice of just 3 dishes per course but still offered great variety & every dish we... More

Located in a narrow street ten steps away from a square which featured a couple of restaurants with lots of tourists inside, was Lou Candeloun. We have found this place, owned by a chef and his wife, using a French guide, 'Le Routard'. A small, cosy and beautifully decorated room had no more than 9 tables. However, everything we have... While visiting Grasse with friends, we decided to hop into a restaurant nearby a little peaceful square in the old part of town. As it was the weekend, the lunch menu at €32 was available. We opted for the panfried gooseliver with gravy, excellent quality of gooseliver and cooked to perfection, a very refreshing lobster terrine, for main course, the... More

Small restaurant located in the old centre of Grasse. The restaurant is simply decorated, but pretty. Food is certainly the most imaginative in Grasse. Dishes we ate last time included a fish carpacio with avocardo and St Jaques clams with sweet potato. Friendly service, albeit not of the highest standard. Now firmly located on my list of favoured Grasse restaurants

This restaurant is tucked away in a side street at the end of Grasses main square. Which means that fewer people go there to eat and that is really their loss because the food at Lou Candeloun is really excellent. They use only fresh local products and cook them to perfection. I visited for lunch and had the daily formule... More

We arrived at Grasse after dark and found restaurant just by accident even though we had 2 GPS devices between us. There was a crib in a reception area and our first reaction was that we entered somebody’s house and we almost left. After we were led to the dining area we were surprised to find it very nice and...
