I will start with the positives: this place has a potential - situated in a lovely setting, good atmosphere, polite staff. The negative is the food that is below average. Pizza was made of frozen dough and you could taste the ingredients were just cheap. Change the chef, don't fake the ingredients and people will leave satisfied.

The waitress is rude, the service is slow, the food is ok, the outdoor seating is good though. Not recommended.

We tried several of the more well known restaurants in Eze as it was a birthday treat but most were either busy or a little too expensive (even for a Birthday) then we found La Taverne. Its a lovely little place with good service nice outside dining area and a simple but delicious menu. 3 of us shared the bruschetta... More

What attracted us in the first place, though we weren't really hungry, were the outdoor tables with candles laying on the sides of this really scenic little medieval street. Besides the pizza and the salad, which were both delicious and fresh, we were really pleasantly surprised by the red wine in carafe we ordered! Also, great service! Friendly and helpful!

We were shocked to have been treated in a very rude manner when we sat down. We started ordering a pizza for our kids since they were hungry and my wife and I were not interested in eating. The waitress refused to serve us saying that if we only order a pizza then we have to leave!!! I have never... More

We had a delightful leisurely lunch here, enjoying an amazing ravioli with truffle oil and wild mushrooms. Leave room for dessert- well worth the inch on the waistline. Our lovely waitress was cheerful, attentive and was joking with us by the end of the meal. The restaurant courtyard may not have the view of other restaurants but it had the... More

Outside tables are squeezed in either side of the main walkway up through this medieval village though this doesn't detract from the innate charm of this 'italian' restaurant. It is open only in the evenings and basically serves pizza and past which are very tasty. There's a good selection of wines to wash it all down with and the desserts... More

Really friendly and great quality food, we ate here twice during our 5 nights in Eze and on our return visit we were greeted like old friends. The wine is excellent also, if a little expensive (but average for the area!)

My daughter and I decided to stop at this cafe for lunch during our walk thru the "old village". My daughter order a seafood pizza and I, a goat cheese salad. Both were absolutely delicious and generously portioned! We were very happy with our meals and the apple tart for desert. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced. I would... More

Perfect, simple and family-friendly restaurant to enjoy after climbing the village. Try to eat outside for the full experience. Great service by the young woman serving us. Merci !
