Food OK, Service was good. Watch out for the water an eye watering price for a plastic litre bottle of Evian water... a WHOPPING WACK AT €6. Pretty sure it was not on the price list. a little sneaky I thought....

Located in Èze, an unbelievably beautiful medieval village, La Taverne is totally suited to the atmosphere. The place is atmospheric, the food is excellent, the owner and employees are kind and smiley. I absolutely recommend it!

Standard italian fare, it's good but not exceptional. The service was really kind and attentionate if overworked. No view, which is a shame in Eze but you could do worse.

Meal was so good we went back another night. You must try the pizza with the egg. I have never seen this before but it was excellent! The squid pasta was also fabulous. The seafood with pasta was just average. The atmosphere is so inviting and interesting.

This small family-run restaurant is rustic, set in a low ceilinged stone building. We loved the Italian food, the music, and the hospitality. When we returned for dinner on a second night we were greeted effusively, like long lost family, and treated to free aperitifs. A lovely, kind atmosphere amidst a family that clearly enjoys its work, and knows how... More

La Taverne was recommended to us by our hotel concierge at Chevre d'or....he was so right. What a quaint restaurant with such charm. We came immediately after opening and were greeted by a wonderful gal (who later told us her sister was the chef). I'm shocked to read some of the recent reviews of rude service! We experienced nothing like... More

Having found La Taverne on TA with high ratings, my wife & I decided to take a short, twisting, fascinating, nighttime walk from our hotel to the restaurant on Sunday, August 31. We thought outdoor seating in the narrow alley/street was attractive & unusual, so we took a seat at a small, tipsy table (photo). Our waitress was charming &... More

I will start with the positives: this place has a potential - situated in a lovely setting, good atmosphere, polite staff. The negative is the food that is below average. Pizza was made of frozen dough and you could taste the ingredients were just cheap. Change the chef, don't fake the ingredients and people will leave satisfied.

The waitress is rude, the service is slow, the food is ok, the outdoor seating is good though. Not recommended.

We tried several of the more well known restaurants in Eze as it was a birthday treat but most were either busy or a little too expensive (even for a Birthday) then we found La Taverne. Its a lovely little place with good service nice outside dining area and a simple but delicious menu. 3 of us shared the bruschetta... More
