Rustic and authentic flavours

We had both a lunch and a dinner at la Troubador. Both meals were very well done. Rustic flavours, simple and unpretentious presentation. Small selection of locally produced wines to perfectly accompany your meal. Not too many options for gluten intolerants or celiacs. Several delicious options... read more

Highly recommend dinner at this fab little restaurant. We enjoyed a few glasses of wine upon arrival and wanted a fuss free, intimate dinner. We opted for the 3 course menu, and absolutely loved every dish. Beautiful flavors, and presentation. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, and managed all of the tables himself without missing a beat. Visiting le... More

The rooms are charming and the food is very good. We stayed in Eze and were so pleased to have so fine a restaurant right in the old town.

This restaurant is located in Eze in the castle. It has no view with is a bit of a detraction. The food was decent but not exceptional. The service was excellent and the price was less than the nearby hotel restaurants which have lovely views and are more expensive.

This restaurant is located in the castle. They were offering a 4 course dinner for about $50 U.S. Every course was delicious and well presented. Dinner included scallops with truffles, duck with cherries, goat cheese pastry salad and pouched peach with sorbet. The best duck I've had. Plus, you are eating inside an actual castle!

Excellent food, excellent service! Great little find, the atmosphere was so quaint and cozy. The duck with cherries was so delicious, one of the best I've ever had. The goat cheese salad was so good I can't wait to try and make it. The creme brûlée is a must.

My husband and I went to Le Troubadour during our honeymoon at the recommendation of the owner of our little bed and breakfast. We went in the late evening, so the tourist buses had departed for the day and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The food was absolutely exquisite in every way, from presentation to taste, and the... More

Tucked away in one of the tiny, narrow streets of a Eze this restaurant was a delight. Felt like it was family run. Didn't try to compete with its 5star neighbours but presented excellent food and service . We had a starter of a fine fillet of smoked salmon and another one of flavourful goats cheese. We chose fish for... More

Food very good and service to match. excellent value compared with some of the more expensive options in the area. Quaint setting and areas to eat in and outside. Fairly busy when we eat there as many of the other places closed in the evening.

Down the street from chateau Eze and Chèvre D'Or is this cozy restaurant. The concierge at Chèvre D'or recommended that we try it. Excellent suggestion! We each had the 39.50 € three course dinner. Scallop starter outstanding....duck very good...blueberry cake excellent! They also had a good selection of half bottles of wine. When my husband raved about the potatoes the... More
